This book is about daily life.There are moments of joy and there are hard times. Family supports each other and cooperate overcome difficulty. Sometimes we lend our hands to neighbors, sometimes we ask for help. And surely there is a lot of party with friends.
Daily problems come and go. We should not take them seriously but easily and may be humorously. That is life and that is what family and friend for, for the good time and for the bad time.
I love this book, I got a message from it, “Life is easy. Enjoy your life!”
hey is this what that movie was about? I never knew?! Ive only seen the movie and it was kind of dumb, and cunfusing but truthfully i kinda liked it!
Actually, it is about a fox family, Mr. Fox family.Mr. Fox was adored by his family, his wife called him fantastic
He always stole from three stingy farmers to feed the family.
One day the three set a trap for the fox family.
Mr. Fox led the hungry family dig a tunnel out bravely,
With ingenuity and good luck Mr. Fox tunnel went straight to the farmer's barn. There were also neighbors who suffer in hunger, badger and mole family. Finally they had party together with eat and drink much.
It is a beautiful light story. Mr. Fox is really fantastic for:
1) He really never gives up
2) He is not drunken in victory, remains vigilant and careful, not careless and greedy
3) He is willing to share his good luck with friends.
... rare quality in human .....mmh :)
It's also a book about cruelty to animals. Quite a few of Dahl's books involve animals somehow getting the better of people, or characters who suffer as a result of being cruel to animals (eg The Twits and The Magic Finger. There's also his great short story "The Boy Who Could Talk to Animals".
I liked this book, but I didn't really like the movie. It was a good movie, but all the character looked as if they were made of socks, and there is a ton of stuff that's not in the book. But a ton of movies nowadays are just "based on" or "inspired by" books, so I guess that's okay.ROALD DAHL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like this book, as well as the movie due to the music and the twist plot (I agree with someone who once said that if they were loyal to the original plot, the movie would last around 15 min).Like in other book adaptations, the characters were adjusted to the cast "personalities". Mr Fox was adjusted to Mr. Clooney's behaviour, my bro said it appeared to be like a macho man in the movie, somehow diferent from the book.
this book is more of a pocket guied for thivefs,with three lessons to learn1)dont get cautgh
2)never steal in large amounts
3)dont fuck up.
@Axle: I'd say your third rule was a way of just repeating the above two rules. Wanna shorten those lessons either drop #3, or keep three and drop the others.

It's a book about Mr Fox, who is fantastic.He's fantastic because he is resourceful and uses his brains to outwit those with more power. Rather like Matilda, and James - and all numbers of Roald Dahl characters. Roald Dahl remembered how disempowering being a child is, so gives his characters empowerment over their oppressors.

i did not get the book a lot but i liked it. and it was kind of cool and fun to reed.
