The setting of the story still takes place in the house of the Androids. Now they are fighting, as a married couple would, and the wife is getting mad because she doesn't want to have "sex" with the husband and he is trying to get her in the mood by dialing a set of numbers. After a while, she gives in and he dials 594: pleased acknowledgment of husband's superior wisdom. The conflict I think is still the wife wants to feel human and not have to follow her husband's wishes.
