Used Book Store....Score!

Today I went to a huge library sale after work. ( I work near the foothills, SW of the Denver metro area. I live SE of the metro area in a town of 1200, in city limits. So, our little library doesn't have a big used section! :) So, if I hear of one closer to the "big city".....

I get regular emails from Amazon advertising 99 cent books and 2.99 and such. Some are pretty good.

Got Time To Hunt from my favorite used book store, Book Attic (it was one of the first places I found when I moved to Nashville 25+ years ago). I also got a shipment from Abe books (3 separate used book stores) Black Light, Night Of Thunder, I, Sniper and The 47th Samurai.

I stopped at the library on the way home, to check out ,want to read it before his second one, that I won on First Reads. Stop in the used book room, there's a PB copy. Had a book checked out for 20 minutes!

Picked up Goldfinger today at Book Attic (lucky find) and also Sable (bought it strictly on the strength of cover blurbs...could be a mistake).

Sadly, all the used book stores around here have closed down. Not only do I miss sorting through their questionably alphabetically sorted shelves, I miss the smell when I walked in. No other place is the same.
