Go you! I haven't even started. I'm sorry :-( I'll be better next time. I'm sorry you didn't really like it. I'll be anxious to read more about what you thought of the book.
Jillian -- I finally got to it, just last month. I experienced it very differently this time around than when I read it back in high school. I liked it, thought I was surprised by how less difficult and scary it was than I'd how I'd been remembering it!
I'm sad my first time through ATOTC was in high school, because it would have affected me so differently now. The ending was the only part I remembered, so I felt like I spent the whole novel waiting to get to the conclusion I knew was coming. It really is beautiful, and Dickens handles it so very well.

Hi Jane!
Sorry to be a little late in replying here. Our April read is The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton. Voting for the May book is going on until Friday in the sidebar of my blog: http://erinreads.com. Please stop by and pick your favorite! I'd love to have you join whenever you can.
