I haven't started this one yet. It will be a reread for me; the first time I read it was, like so many others, in high school.

Who all is in for this one?

I just read this (for the first time -- don't know how I missed it in high school!) a couple of years ago, so I think I'll sit this one out. Enjoy!

Jillian -- I finally got to it, just last month. I experienced it very differently this time around than when I read it back in high school. I liked it, thought I was surprised by how less difficult and scary it was than I'd how I'd been remembering it!

I'm sad my first time through ATOTC was in high school, because it would have affected me so differently now. The ending was the only part I remembered, so I felt like I spent the whole novel waiting to get to the conclusion I knew was coming. It really is beautiful, and Dickens handles it so very well.

I read this book years ago and would like to re-read it. What are you reading next and I will try to be part of the discussion and read along with you.
