Hi, I have a problem, when I uploaded my book Maids of Misfortune as a Barnes and Noble book, a new book (rather than a new edition) came up. It doesn't show any of the data (reviews, etc) and when I tried to follow rules on how to merge or delete, nothing worked.
Rights now the edition that came through Smashwords as Barnes and Noble and is listed as one of my 3 editions is http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/84...

Should be fixed now. I merged the reviews with the most popular edition. Then I re-imported and NAB'd.
There are two versions of this book listed in Goodreads; one is the hardback and the other the eBook version. However, the eBook has the wrong title:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
The correct title of this book is "Love, A Secret History", which is the way the hardcover is listed. The ebook has the wrong title.

These two are the same book and should be merged, I think, but the ebook should have its title corrected, too.

Worldcat shows the ebook title as Love: A History, with a cover that matches that. I'm not sure it should be changed but the two can probably be combined. The Worldcat title on the hardcover is also listed as Love: A History. Not sure why the title doesn't match.
I'm going to leave this for a more experienced librarian.

The real issue is whether there should be alternate cover editions as well.
Oh, dear. I am not at all sure how to upload a cover design for a book. I saw the book on the Yale University Publishing's website, and there was a cover there. So what does one do to get the cover to Goodreads?? Sorry, I really should stop asking so many questions and just go a read the manual, right? Sigh...
Someone went in and changed the book title on the ebook and combined them, and I just added the correct cover picture. Worldcat shows both ISBNs as Love: A History. Should the alternate cover be Love: A Secret History, so it matches what Worldcat shows?

I just checked and now there are two ebooks, both published by Yale, and they have the same covers. Are these the same two ebooks and should they be combined? They seem to have different ISBNs though, so I don't know we do in that case. Thanks again.

Although without any information, such as the ISBN, this might have been set up for the paperback edition; there is no paperback version shown.
lol ..I think we were in the same time there and trying to fix the same thing ...I was trying how to merge ebook and kindle version in one ...can you show me how you do it ???

All librarians to do the same things except for super librarians who can do a couple of extra things:like delete books with more the 5 reviews or delete single edition books that have no reviews.
Best thing to do is read the manual and don't be afraid to post here for help or explanations, there are generally people lurking to help
