What is up with Jill and Adrian?

O.K. finally I made it to chapter nine, and I am very frustrated. Jill is acting as if she needs Adrian to breathe and live to the next day. Whereas Adrian is somewhat oblivious to her constant need for him. I am so confused. Do you think they're bonded? Please no spoilers.

That is totally what I am thinking because they won't talk about what happened during the attack and then Eddie said everyone is okay NOW so I bet Adrian healed her.
You'll find out. I thought it was actually pretty obvious but it's also kinda cool.
