As an avid user of AudioBooks - I find it to be cumbersome to have to figure out what hour of an MP3 I am in when the time is shown in minutes.
It is much easier to leave off page numbers - and then enter in a percentage complete. For Example: Right now I am listening to the MP3 recording of Kitty Raises Hell by Carrie Vaughn. I am currently 20% finished however I would have to do the math to figure out how many hours in I am.... it took me under a minute to figure out my percentage... I'm 115 minutes in out of 498 approx min. So I'm almost into the 2nd hour (115/60 = 1.91666667) out of 8.3 hours (498/60 = 8.3) which puts me at 23% now... so I've completed 3% of the book in the time it took me to calculate it....
