Who do you think Percy should have been with Annabeth or Rachel?

annabeth. no question. rachel can jump off a cliff.
Percy and Annabeth were made for each other, It sounds kind of cheesy but it's true.

Well I prefer Calypso to both of them. But between the two I would have to go with Rachel. I think i'm the only person who hates annabeth.

Annabeth! I hated how in the beginning of the Last Olympian he was all, "rachel is soo much easier to talk to" and everything, like he actually considered dating her! Gross!

ANNABETH ALL THE WAY. Rachel is a interesting character but shes really annoying. I love the way Annabeth gives her attitude. My favorite line was when Rachel said, "I just played dumb" and Annabeth says, "Was it hard?". Ha ha. Anyway Annabeth for sure, shes one of my favorite characters.

annabeth. rachel aint that bad but shes juss some girl who fell out of the sky and popped into the story. no way should she go out with out percy! 2 2 much of a newbie

I agree with you Hillary! I am so glad I found someone else who doesn't like Annabeth. I just find her to be HIGHLY annoying and honestly, a flatly written character. She is too bossy and bratty in my opinion. I dislike the way that her sassiness is written as a positive attribute and that she doesn't have any flaws. Also, Annabeth's and Percy's personalities just don't mix.Their relationship is basically forced on the reader. If they were real people, they would probably hate each other . I didn't find the relationship believeable at all. I also agree with you about Calypso. I think that she and Percy had more chemistry together in one chapter ,than Annabeth and Percy did in the entire series.
Another thing, Nessa I think that it's quit rude of you to call someone "crazy" just because they disagree with you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and shouldn't be subjected to dozens of " WHY DO U H8 ANNABETH ?!?!111 NO 1 H8S ANNABETH !!!" comments just because they think differently than you.

Well I think Meredith put it really well. I find her to be very one dimensional, basically a knockoff Hermione. Her and Percy are a classic example of the author telling and not showing. I never felt like their feelings were very real or believable, I was just told that he liked her.
Personally, I can't figure out how so many people like her. But that is the beauty of books. People have different interpretations of characters and can like and not like whichever ones they choose. :)
I like Annabeth because she's different than most characters, more unique. And she's funny and I like when she gets jealous or mad at Percy and he acts dumb because he doesn't understand what's going on in her head. And when she tries to hide her attraction to him is so sweet and funny.I like Rachel too. She's actually my fifth favorite character. But to me, something about her doesn't seem right for Percy. Maybe she's too wild. Annabeth and Percy been through a lot of junk together and understand how it feels to be a demigod, so they relate to eachother more.
I think Rachel's more of the girl you go to the club with or invite to your kids birthday party. But she's definitely real cool.
Annabeth is so much more perfect for Percy!!
