So I wanted to share, today was another cool day to remember:) I got to see my second book in print. There really is no feeling comparable to the outflow when we hold, touch, and love our creations:)

Congrats, Kristin! I remember the biggest thrill I've had to date was seeing my book on the shelf at Safeway right across from the cottage cheese. Thrilled me even more than seeing the silly thing at Borders! Perhaps it was because I spend half my life and most of my paycheck at the grocery store. Sigh! Congrats again. Dana

Congratulations, Kristin. It is a terrific feeling. I've published two books but they were twelve years apart. I felt immense relief as much as joy that the second book finally made it's coming out party.

Thank you everyone. I have to say, I think I am even more excited about this one then the first. There is an amazing feeling that seems to prevail when you look at your work. You forget about what it took to create it, and just wonder at the marvel that is the final product.
It is gratifying yet frustrating. I write with a passion and desire to do good things. It feels great to share good things with people. This is a good thing, that I enjoy sharing. I hope it inspires others to find their dreams.

Yes Kristin, I could not stop crying when the UPS truck showed up at my door with my first novel...and I still tear up when I walk by it in the different rooms I've placed it around my home!
I think the best part about being a writer is being able to express and share the imagination, passion, love...etc, we have for putting words together...it is a brave thing we all are doing.
