All tasks are draft until September 12, 2011. Changes may be made in the task descriptions until that date. Before you begin reading, please re-check the task description as some changes may impact your book choice.
There is a help thread for each task in the Task Help Fall 2011 folder. Please post questions about specific tasks in the task's help thread. Book recommendations are very welcome there as well.
We strongly recommend that players review the Rules of the Challenge and Posting Requirements. If you need help navigating the Seasonal Reading Challenge, the SRC Overview may help you find your way.

Please re-check the task descriptions, as some have been modified to clarify the requirements based on questions that have been asked in the help threads. All books posted from here on out must comply with the requirements of the current task description.
The requirements for each task are included in the task descriptions. If your proposed book does not clearly fit the task description, we suggest that you check posts 2 and 3 in the help threads for that task - these may contain lists of books that have been proposed for the task and have been specifically approved or disapproved.
If your book is not listed in one of those posts and does not clearly fit the task description, we suggest that you ask on the help thread. The moderators may refer to posts 2 and 3 of the task help threads when reviewing completed tasks. If your chosen book is not among those listed as approved, the moderators may ask you to explain how it fits the task.
Please carefully check the Required elements for each task.

The Challenge point goal is 1100
10 x 5 points = 50
10 x 10 points = 100
10 x15 points = 150
10 x 20 points = 200
10 x 25 points = 250
10 x 30 points = 300
1 x 50 points = 50
Many of the tasks have already been posted. The remaining tasks will be posted as they are available. The aim is to have all tasks, excepting 50.1, posted by September 7. All tasks are draft until September 12. Please carefully review the task descriptions on September 13, as task requirements may have changed during the review period.
