Hi,

I noticed that Magic Island is actually attributed to the same author under two different names: WB Seabrook and William Buehler Seabrook. How would I go about merging this without losing any of the editions or related posts?

Hi. I changed the titles (from worldcat, so that they were all the same - one of the editions was missing "The"). And I also changed the author name to William Buehler Seabrook. All the editions now have the same merged # of ratings. Hope this helps.

While his middle initial appears on many covers, I cannot find a single one that shows his full middle name. LoC appears to prefer neither middle initial nor name (although it has all three options), which is not much help.

I made it William B. Seabrook, with his middle name listed in the description.
