STACEY post 1103

Unfortunately, State of Wonder won't work for 25.1B. The title of the book must have exactly 4 letters from ALEXANDRIA - no more, no fewer.
State of Wonder has 5 - A E N D R

No need to re-post the other tasks listed in post 1103

KELLY G post 1113
A die roll of 5, Excalibur, for task 20.9 requires you to read a book featuring a castle, knights, or King Arthur. I didn't see anything about these things in the GR description of The Night Circus. Could you explain how this book fits the task?

Found the problem - when you claimed task 20.1, you called it 20.2 and that's how it was marked in the spreadsheet. I have to do this in bits and pieces, so when I was entering your post that included 20.2, I came back to the computer, saw that I had you marked down for 20.2 in the spreadsheet, I thought that task was already entered and moved on to the next one. Sorry - I've added 20.1 to the spreadsheet now.

Oh, hell. That task is killing me - I keep miscounting how many letters I have! Thanks, I'll find somewhere else to stick that book.

Thanks so much and so sorry about that! I try to keep it as simple and correct as I can for ya. I know it must be quite a job to keep up with it and I appreciate it!

No problem - we all slip up - that's why we all have to keep checking on each other, to catch these things!

RACHEL LEE post 1177

Task 5.3 requires that either the title or the author's name include an element from the Periodic Table of Elements. I'm no scientist, so I could be missing it, but could you please point out which word here is from the Periodic Table?

Thanks! I have avoided science to the extent possible throughout my life, so looking for the elements here is like decoding a foreign language!

ROSEMARY post 1127
In my hurry to get the readerboard up to date for the midpoint, I missed the fact that you posted only part 1 of a book for task 25.6B. I am sorry that it took me a couple days to catch this.

The rules require that you read an entire book for a task, not just part of a book. The binding of a book is not the important thing - see post 149 below. You will have to read the entire book to claim it for task credit.

Oh OK! I have already started volume 2 so I will repost that task when I have finished it. I guess then I can claim it as a big book counting the pages in both volumes added together, would that be right?

JEAN post 1226

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants won't work for task 15.7, because it begins with a "T" and ends with an "S."

Also, please post your tasks in numerical order, from low to high. That makes it much easier to correctly enter the points claimed. Thanks.

It looks as if the book you posted for Task 30.5B was published in English under one title and in German under another. The task requires that the book have been published under 2 different titles in the same language.

Sorry gentle moderators, my score also has problems, the points I claimed in Post #1341 were not reflected in my Readerboard total.

At the top of the readerboard, it indicates the post # through which it has been updated. If your posts were not 1350 or lower, then they would not be reflected on the readerboard yet.

Tast 20.9 is a one book task - so, you would only use the book for the die roll you made (3 for the Mirage, 4 for Treasure Island), and you could fit the other book into a different task.
