I agree, I think rejection or not being liked is big for most people. I've read this book. I loved the part about the transfiguration.
For me it is both rejection and failure. I am not sure about calamity. I think everyone has a difficult time now and then not being fearful.
My biggest fear--a life without meaning. Perhaps a close second is simply being out of control--unable to help myself or those I love. When I read Fearless, I was taken by surprise by the role fear played in my own life--I did not see it (review: http://wp.me/p3Xeut-99).
Fearless was a life changer for me and I have recommended it ever since.

1. "Imagine your life wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract ever last shaving of dread, insecurity and doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, absent the dread of failure, rejection, and calamity. Can you imagine a life with no fear?'
A. Try to answer the questions above. How would your life b different today if all fear was erased from your heart?
I think I would feel more joyful majority of the time.
B. Which are you more prone to do - dread of failure, rejection or calamity? What does that indicate about you?
