Shit. I am so sorry. I can't seem to find the time to get moving on this. I've gotten a few chapters in and that's it. I have never punked out on a buddy read like this but it's like I can't catch a break. Between injuries and Christmas stuff, I'm not able to take a minute to focus. I want to say that I'll try to make time to catch up, but I don't know if it's going to happen at this point.

At 95% Chapter 66.Connor: (view spoiler)[Cam is coming back with Roberta. It has been a good move because I don't think this series is going to benefit a lot from love triangles and Cam needs to figure out what the Senator and the General are up to. I wouldn't have minded if Connor had decided to go rescue him. It's terrible that Proactive Citizenry intends to graft him again. I wonder how he is going to prevent it to happen (hide spoiler)]

So I'm about half way through UnSouled and I just keep wanting to skip over certain characters chapters. Other characters, however, I am very curious about; what is Cam planning and will it really get him what he wants? I love Grace's random input but will she become a liability?

Have you stuck with the book Stacia or did you get totally side tracked?

I liked it but less than the others. I have listed between spoiler tags the things I liked best in my review.

Anna, I also struggled a but with certain characters (all the villains, hehe). You still have some good chapters ahead but I hope Undivided gives us all the things that Unsouled did not in the end.

I agree that reading the villains perspective was rough, and not as enjoyable. I had the same problem.

Still, don't skip them. Even if you want to. Shusterman has a way of making even things you think are meaningless important.

Reading his Skinjacker series first really taught me that (with the exception of a few) most of his characters are shades of gray. Sometimes it just takes him a while to get there. (By the way, the Skinjacker series is amazing. It's about a version of Purgatory... It's even more fantastical that this world, so you have to be prepared for some weird, but the concepts are awseome.)

Purgatory? That sounds really good, Wendy. I'll check it out. Definitely Neal Shusterman is a talented author so it must have be pretty original.

I have a couple of books to read in a tight schedule so I guess I won't be able to read Undivided until February.

So, I didn't skip over anybodies story line and one of those story lines is left completely up in the air. I really want to know if Argent was telling the truth about Grace having (view spoiler)[a tracking chip. When the house got raided I was sure they were after Conner and had followed Grace's chip. But Argent was probably lying about that too. (hide spoiler)]

I really liked the Skinjacker series. It is not as gruesome as the Unwind series but still has the thought provoking questions. I would also say it is more MG than YA in terms of the characters.

I agree with you. It is more MG in terms of characters, but the concepts are not. I read the first one with my daughter and she enjoyed it but the meanings of things went over her head.

Argent is in the final book. :)

I just reread Unwind (even though I'd first read it this past January) and pounced on the Unstrung novella. Can't wait to read Unwholly when I get a free minute!!
