In the spirit of diversity:I'm reading a zombie apocaylpse novel, Rise Again: A Zombie Thriller and a vampire novel Queen of Kings (gotta love the idea of Cleopatra becoming a vampire to avenge Antony's death)

Must be, the covers do look similar!
I hadn't heard of that one, but I put it on my to-read list as well, Thanks!
I wrote it lol...but seriously I believe this story is in fact....its own. The early sales and returns for just a novella are promising. Reviews are strong and Part II is ready to come forward in order to keep the momentum going!http://www.amazon.com/DNA-CODE-FLESH-......
I spent the last ten months completing Carmilla - The Wolves of Styria, which is a re-imagining of J.S. Le Fanu's original novella. That didn't leave me a lot of time for reading. Thankfully, I've now managed to spend the last few weeks re-reading Watchers by Dean Koontz. A great book, and probably the authors finest work.
i have just finished The Mammoth Book of Vampires . well it was good but a little beyond the traditional vampire theme.
I've just got my hands on a 1913 edition of 'The Island of Dr. Moreau.' Only a couple of chapters in but it's an interesting read.
Freebie! Just started this one - an awesome shifter romance (it's a new series): http://www.amazon.com/Shapeshifter-We...
A Kiss of Shadows was pretty good it just took me a little awhile to get into it.I really liked on how she different kinds of fae
Just about to start reading the first book of "The Strain" since it's been made into a TV series.Looks like an interesting take on vampires.
