I love fantasy, too, as well as a romantic mystery...a connection, but a twist is always a page turner for me. ;-)

I would write stories based on my life. With a short poem at the beging of each story. Like a collection of short stories. Or I wanted to write a great single book vampire story. However the genere is so overdone. It's out of the question. Unless I was to write it, and release in the next decade. It would probably take me that long to write it. LOL. So maybe I will.

vampires... I'm obsessed with them... and shapeshifters, love them as well. :D I'm already writing one based on Death which I'm reworking. But yeah, vampires, shapeshifters and Death. ^^

Gritty realism, which is what I'm doing now anyway :) Started off doing YA fantasy, but set one of my stories in my old town in South Auckland, New Zealand, and things rapidly morphed into hard-edged realism in the same genre as "Once Were Warriors."

I would write about a story about Punk Rock kids in 1980's AZ & CA. I would like to write it as an auto biography. But I might get sued. Maybe if I changed the names. It would have a cast of characters I dealt with. Doc Jackson who ran an after hours gambling club, and his pardner Fonz West a militant black artist and pimp. Hookers, Guns, drugs, sex, and moderate violence, near death expeiriences, death of friends. Lots of social comentary.

Hope the writing goes well for you.
Right on. I have been wanting to write an autobiography for awhile now. Not another missery of the drug expierience book either. I would only touch on that, and concentrate on social expieriences, relationships, and my strange secretive world. I also have wanted to write a childrens book about the relationship of three bearded dragons, and the boy they live with. Illusrtated by myself in watercolor. I have liver disease however. So it will be a real challange. That is the reason I have only written short stories published in the free press. I just haven't had the health for a full blown attempt. What energy I have is used up in guitar playing. I am writing songs however. That is a version of writing, and to me an album is like a book. So maybe I can do that. There are many possible doors or choices. If only it was as easy as just picking one. But my illness, I am afraid will hinder me until the grave. So I have to keep my works short, and within a realistic scope. I will create something. : )
