message 1: by Emily (last edited Aug 21, 2011 08:49PM) (new) - added it

Emily Loveall | 6 comments Hi! I hope I'm doing this right :P I have two editions of my short story collection:
Passages - this is the Kindle version
Passages - I think this is the Smashwords edition?

Could someone combine them? Or even delete the Smashwords one, I'm not sure that the purpose of it is because it's not even showing the cover!

Thank you so much :)

Lobstergirl Combined. The Smashwords ed. has an ISBN so it would just reimport if deleted. (Lots of books on GR lack covers actually.) If you know what the cover should be, someone can add it for you.

Chuck | 51 comments added the cover, even smashwords does not seem to have the ISBN listed that shows on its page here.

Chuck | 51 comments The ISBN on the smashwords one is actually the B&N ID not an ISBN... do we need a field for those just like ASIN?

Why? The ISBN-13 field works fine.

Chuck | 51 comments Mainly to tell the difference easier, but its not a big deal as you said because it works fine otherwise.

Chuck | 51 comments That is unless one of these days the BNID conflicts with a real ISBN :-p

They would have two separate editions.

BNIDs always begin with 294, ISBN13s begin (mostly) with 978. It's unlikely they will conflict.
