But I LOVE reading when it's chilly underneath a blanket with the cool air blowing around.
And Fiona - me too about the heat!! What is that? I've been like that the last year or so.

A favorite month??? Hmmmm probably October and November. I can't decide.

Don't have a specific prefered month. But August still has its tender memories for me. I associate August with the summer vacation, when I was at school and when I used to go to stay with my grandparents in a pre-mountainous zone and read in the orchard.

But...I have just as big a stack right now as I will in Jan, so maybe that holds no water!

winter is great here with the fire place on or jsut to curl in a blanket with your book.
I adore sitting in the garden on a bench during autumn or winter and put a blanket around me. You feel it's cold but the blanket keeps you warm enough adn it is such a wonderful feeling to read like that.

The fall for me is prime reading weather! but I must say I used to tremendously enjoy reading during the summer at the beach! before I had children sucking every ounce of my attention for themselves!! oh to be able to sit and enjoy a nice hot sandy beach towel and good fluff!

I think December is my worst month because of Christmas and the shopping.

I will start to mention it around, so my boyfriend understands that it is time for him to make it....

And my boyfriend makes it soooo good tooo......mmmmm, I need one! (but just ate so much fish, I'm full)
I am going to mentally prepare him!:-)

I don't really have a favorite time of year to read. I just try to give myself a minimum of an hour before bed each night. Granted sometimes it's much longer. I love reading in bed in the blankets!

But I also love curling up on a gloomy day to read.

I do like a blanket, hot chocolate and a book too.
