stormhawk | 542 comments Calibre is a good piece of freeware that does the job, but you have to get used to using it.

You can email the pdfs to your kindle address and have amazon do the conversion for you also.

This is an online coverter: http://ebook.online-convert.com/conve...

Colby (colbz) It is possible to put the PDF ebooks on your kindle simply by plugging the kindle into your computer, and moving them to the 'Documents' folder on your kindle.

Otherwise, there are some websites that you can transfer them on, but I can't think of what they're called right now.

stormhawk | 542 comments With the K3, yes, you can put the PDFs directly on it, but you'll see the pages quished down to Kindle screen size with itty bitty type, unless the pdf was specifically formatted for kindle. You can increase the magnification on the page, but it's awkward to read by shifting the view around the page. I've done both and I much prefer converting.

The KDX handles pdfs much more smoothly.
