I had to go into my Amazon account, take a hard look at the list and reconsider which I should remove. Finding anything was becoming a bit haphazard.

after many years. It's often considered a classic of the spy-thriller genre and made Len Deighton what he is today. I just added it to my TBR list. I haven't read a really scary book in awhile, I think it's time.

This is my first full-length novel by Berry, so the formula hasn't gotten old for me. That being said, I'm enjoying it but it's not blowing me away. It's very good, but maybe I had higher expectations. I'm less than half-way finished, so maybe my opinion will change.

I am enjoying this second book more than the first. A little darker than the Dresden series.

Definitely darker. Good noir atmosphere.
I'm about 20% into Fated, this month's A/A pick. So far it seems sort of like a Harry Potter for grownups.My condolences go out to the family, friends, and fans of Vince Flynn.
About halfway through Hyperion and I still can't make my mind up on how I like it but bizarre and interesting enough to keep me chugging along

I'm reading The Wrecking Crew by Mark Chisnell. I think Mark gave it to me as a R2R. It's the 2d in a series apparently, but I haven't read the first nor missed it. I'm 2/3 of the way through & loving/hating it. Love because it's fantastic. I feel like the main character & empathize with his situation & decisions so much, but hate it because they're such hard ones. Life really sucks for this guy. He's no super hero, just a good man in a very nasty situation.
I finished NOS4A2. It was excellent. I think I still like Horns better.Now I'm reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

Finished reading Die Trying. it took me a longer time to read mostly because the middle parts really dragged imo. Still not a bad read overall, Lee Child is a great storyteller.Here's my review of Die Trying:

Right now I've started altogether 3 potentially explosive read: Tripwire, Jack Reacher's 3rd adventure in paperback, Patient Zero in ebook format, and Sandstorm by James Rollins (I guess its high time I finally read the Sigma Force prequel!). And although not really a fan of his writing style and formulaic stories, I also am inexplicably drawing to Dan Brown's Inferno. Lets see which one touches the finish line first...
thinking of starting Conspiracy of Deception. I hope its good. Just learned of this book today. It was published last year by a guy who was a few years older than me in school and lived a couple miles away. Can't say we were ever friends but still nice to try to support a fellow small town kid and when I looked it up on kindle it was free.
I just finished mockingjay so I rate it 3 stars the ending was ok buy not what I expected an now I'm at a really good classic book 'Peter and Wendy' from what I'm reading its very very beautiful

Goodreads had been very annoying this pay weekend for me too. Posting my comments three times or they don't show at all. Not sure what I'll be reading next.

I finished The Ocean at the End of the Lane. I really enjoyed the story. Now I'm going to read Joyland.
I just finished White Cargo by Stuart Woods http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/46...It was a good read exciting suspenseful. The only drawback was, as I was reading the first 1/3 of the book, I kept thinking that I had either read something very similar to this before or maybe seen a movie very similar. Can't place what it was. After the first third of the book, that feeling left me and I found myself enjoying the book even more. This was the first book by Stuart Woods I had read and I would read more of his.

. The sample alone is over 2,300 locations on my Kindle. Action & monsters, a good combo! I will probably end up picking up this 3-book collection.
I'm about halfway through American Elsewhere and it is great so far. Several different mysteries woven together, a little supernatural, maybe some sci/ fi, a little horror, really difficult to pigeonhole. Not much in the way of action but still really compelling.
I just came back to the site and found a message saying 'We tried to email you and failed... please confirm your email address.'Looks like a mail bounced once and they gave up and stopped sending me updates, so now I've lost track of the threads I was following.

I liked Six Years. Yes, different yet it still held my interest. Will definitely read more from Harlan Coben.

The Doll sounds good but have you read the first two in the series? Maybe you're not like me, having to read things in order :/
