Echoes - Something to look forward to?

Saw this the other day and thought I'd share.

Echoes is a pilot for a proposed show. The idea is that two alien races doing battle with each other with Earth as the battleground. Humans can't compete with either alien race, and are pretty much scurrying for cover like mice and trying to survive.

It's made by several alumni from the SG franchises and sounds promising. Hopefully it'll land somewhere and we'll get a decent SciFi series to watch.

This instantly made me think of a short story by William Tenn called 'The Liberation of Earth'.
Interesting to see what the TV show looks like.

Kind of reminds me of Earth: Final Conflict, a show that I actually liked quite a lot. I was only able to see bits and pieces of it as it was broadcast out of order back in the late '90s and was dropped in my area before the finale.

I also liked Earth:The Final Conflict. You could watch the episodes you missed on DVD, Trike.

There are also novels based on the series including one by James White about a Taelon in ancient Celtic Ireland that I particularly enjoyed called The First Protector.
