1. Strong vampires don't sparkle.2. We wouldn't have to read that much if they didn't tell us how beautiful Edward is.
3. Twilight needs a plot.
4. It looks to me as if Bella liked Edward because he was hot.
5. Bella was ignoring everyone at school and only paying attention to Edward.
6. The other kids at school were actually being nice to Bella unlike Edward who just sat there.

My 'friend' absolutely LURVS the stupid, junky excuse for a book, and she continues to gush about it and bash my fave series. I've asked her to STOP, and she pinky promises that she will, and then she turns around and goes all out AGAIN!!!!!! Hold on--I have to go puke...
Ok--I'm back again! Anyways--last week she watched my fave movie, and came to me and said 'I gave **** (* added for security reasons--in case anybody here hates my fave--cause I really don't need any more stress!! >.<) a try, so now you have to give "Twilight" a chance!"
I mean--nobody had made a deal with her, or anything! She really gushes all the time... I can't deal with this any more...

What is your favorite series? I tend to not talk to people about books unless I think they would like a book I read. I am not someone who would bash o book that one of my friends likes and I if they recomend something to me I try to read the whole book before I say anything bad about it. I used to like (not love or anything close to love) Twilight untill I read the Sookie Stackhouse series and realized that Stephanie Meyers is a theif and couldn't even make her rip off better then the original

I belong to another group on here and I think everyone on there has either read it or is it one their TBR list
Nellie-la I know what you mean. I am ashamed to say that I liked Twilight, but I claim insanity! They opened the world of vampires to me and now I can laugh about the fact that I thought they were good. I read Anne Rice after Twilight and thought it was really funny that Stephanie said she has never read vampire books but some of the names are the same. Felix and Larent(sp?) Then I get into Charlene(sp) Harris and so many other things are the same some parts switched. The human can read minds just not the vampires and the shifters and Wares is kind of jumbled (sound familiar to anyone?) Rogue vampires show up 2 males and a female. A shifter and the vampire are fighting for her attention. There is the vampire government. Charlene Harris di so much more with the series but so many ideas were stolen from her as well. I want to see Stephanie Meyers get sued and loose all the rights to Twilight. That would kind of make me laugh.

I just don't understand how she can claim she has never read any vamp books and think she is not going to get cought when she took so many things from one. Like no one would notice. I mean Charlene Harris's series is one HBO so it is popular
It is the Sookie Stackhouse series. It is the True Blood series on HBO. They are really good and noone sparkles! Charlaine Harris The are kind of light fluff book if you like that kind of thing. She has Vamps, Shape shifters, Weres (not all of them are wolfs though there are werepanthers, weretigars all kings of different animals), Witches, fairies. Shifters can change into anything weres are just one animal. Oh yeah when the main girl meets Bill don't get turned off the books.

You should! I really enjoy them. If you join The next best book club there is a section on there where people talk about this series so after you read them you can check out what others have to say about it. It contains spoilers so I wouldn't read it before.

I thought I wouldn't like the show because, you know, shows are never as good as the originals, but even though the show sometimes takes a huge departure from the story, it's still a pretty awesome show.

Why waste time looking PERIODICALLY at things about twilight. To not like twilight means you wouldn't want anything to do with it. Why waste all of your time when you could be doing something productive with yourselves? That is one thing I do not understand about Twilight haters. If someone could explain that, because I don't really understand why you/they would do this.

I really, really, really, really, really, really like the Harry Potter series, a lot. I am not, I am proud to say, as gushy and croony as my friend, a Twi-tard. Very annoying.
Hey--doesn't it say something about the book that (most) Twilight fans are abusive, loud, gushy, croony, weird, mean, cruel, unforgiving, and rather looney, and that I cannot name another series with fans like that? Fans of other series tend to be more forgiving, quiet, happy, accepting of people who do not love their fave, and yet still love the books just as much--perhaps more? Does that not tell you something?

It starts like that if the person is a stupid moron who just saw the movie for Robert Pattinson. Just letting you know, not all people who read twilight say that. Again. why waste your time when you don't know what you are talking about? Us haters will quite willingly leave the lovers alone, and no one is forcing you to be here, avidly devouring each comment. No need to join if you don't want to.

Last time I checked, a few minutes hardly counted up to ALL our time. We do productive things in the meantime. We have lives too, you know.
Also, hating on the worst book of all time is the equivalent of punching pillows when you're angry at your siblings.
Its therapy for all the brain damage, stress, and trauma the Twi-tards have caused us.
So, knowing this, do you think you could leave our rehabilitation session and go do something constructive or helpful yourself, instead of sitting there insulting people, and being a plain old hypocrite?

k Ava Ive been here for a really long time and not all we talk about is hating on twilight, I mean we do talk about it a lot, I mean tis is the Twilight haters group, but we talk about other stuff too, and while were talking about that other stuff, a person who loves twilight that doesnt know us at all hates on us and tells us it rocks, and so it is their fault that were talking about hating twilight even moreBURN!
