cool

Ry Anderson (themostbeautifulbitterfruit) 1.you feel like punching the person who screams when they mention the book
2.you throw up a little when you see Edward

message 1254: by Ry (new)

Ry Anderson (themostbeautifulbitterfruit) Also, one of the reasons I dislike this book series is because no one will be quiet about it. Everyone's running around all gaga about Edward and screaming when they mention the book. Also, they ruined the word twilight!!

Soulin Haque (soulinhaque) I believe Bella is so smart. Who would thought that she would jump off a cliff after she assumes Edward dies? I guess true love does exist in life. this book shows so much about reality, like we should face vampires if we ever see one and how we must stalk our true love till they go to sleep. This saga gives us some tips of how to keep a relationship, like being corny with your love. If anyone needs help with a relationship, they should read this book as a guide on how being romantic and attractive. The guy who acts like Edward definitely doesn't look bad or as if he just woke up from bed. As a vampire, he doesn't look drunk at all. Oh wait, did I forget to say that I was being SARCASTIC!!!

message 1258: by Soulin (new)

Soulin Haque (soulinhaque) Every girl is my school read the complete saga or wants to. I am the only anti-Twilight girl there! I also know a guy who likes it. Seriously, why are people obsessed with it? Which do you guys think are better, the harry Potter Series or the Twilight Saga?

Damn right! Pft! They're probably thinking that THAT kind of criticism makes them great critics.

Ok... um... I'm starting to notice that there are some comments that were written by our members that I feel a little uneasy and unfair.

I don't know... I'm just STARTING to kinda disagree... not that I love twilight again... but... I think I just need to write some of my concerns.

I think SM could do the hell she wants with her book including what she thinks vampires are. But that doesn't mean that EVERYONE approves of it.

Second, I think it's good to get away from reality, even if it is twilight. People have their own opinions of what is a good book and what is not. As long as people don't shove it in your face or when people start to annoy you to death because you hate something they love.

I think this group is starting to get a little too overboard with the hating stuff... not that the twitards are getting overboard too. I hope you all catch my drift.

message 1269: by Giggles (new)

Giggles well were just voiceing our opinions and that is why we have this group if we hate something we shouldnt just be quiet we should tell the world what we think hello freedom of speech???? umm i guess we could be a tad bit nicer but we still hate twilight and we want the world to know it thats all what you guys think??

message 1270: by Giggles (new)

Giggles i agree

message 1271: by [deleted user] (new)

i dont want to disagree with you but twilight wasn't good and i think that if we truely hate it we should say wat se think . the people who like it i think are nice people but. How could they like a book that has NO story. There isn't any good reasons to like it( though only part i like is Alice) the book has NO good characters it seams like a girl can only live if she has a guy to protect her. she gets pregnant right after high school and wants to sleep with edward when she is IN high school. like i know that in most tv shows and other books that happens but Bella seamed PERFECTLY fine with being pregnant and perfectly happy afterwords. i am srry if u think we r being a bit toooo critical but the book should not have been printed if it wasn't going to be criticized

I understand but to be honest, it's not our problem if people like it. I know that we all think, "WHY?! WHY?!" well... I used to love twilight, so I guess people just have their own taste.

Like what Courtney said, maybe we should be a little less harsh on the twilight lovers, unless they really piss us off.

message 1273: by [deleted user] (new)

no duh Court and i dont say anything against the people who like it i just dont like the book and think that people should think more about it

I totally understand that. Some people commenting are getting overboard. However, I find that this is because, for lack of a better term, of "motivation." The haters here are motivated to hate twilight by those who love twilight and gush about it all the time.

Madeline Soulin wrote: "Which do you guys think are better, the harry Potter Series or the Twilight Saga?"

I get so very angry whenever this question is brought up. Whoever originally posed this question could not have possibly read both entire series. I love reading and I have read sooo many books; out of everything I've read, the Harry Potters are far up on my top-10 list. And the Twilights are far down on by bottom-10 list. And I have read both entire series; the Twilight series twice (I don't know if I thought it could possibly be better the second time...?) and the HPs at least 10 times. JKR is my hero.

message 1281: by [deleted user] (new)

well no book can be more drawn out then lord of the rings

message 1282: by [deleted user] (new)

lol

~ EpicFroggy ~ *Loves Tweedle-Dee!* (bengali208) | 160 comments In my opinion, We HAVE been a tad bit harsh towards the twi-tards....... We can hate the book without hating the people who like it, right? Also, I think Christopher Paolini's Eldest was drawn out, but I enjoyed the tedious lessons with Oromis......

message 1284: by deliabookworm (new)

deliabookworm | 49 comments Lord of the Rings isn't drawn out. In my opinion, it actually moves along quite quickly and I think that so many people saw the movies before reading the books that they expected the books to cut from one thing to another very quickly, like the movies do.

message 1285: by [deleted user] (new)

i saw the movies 4 the books bcause i was to young to read the books with intrest. but when i finally did start reading the books i thought that the discription parts took almost a whole chapter.

Same here; I was to young to read the books when the movies came out.

message 1287: by [deleted user] (new)

ya. though back on topic in twilight bella always acts like she cant live without edward.

~ EpicFroggy ~ *Loves Tweedle-Dee!* (bengali208) | 160 comments I don't understand why she's such an idiot...... What has the world come to? I'm feeling philisophical today...... I don't think I spelled that right......✒☃▲Ooohh! I figured out how to use symbols! YAY!!!!

message 1289: by [deleted user] (new)

lol it sems like SM is teaching kids that a girl can only live if she has a guy. and u have to do things that the guy tells u 2 do

~ EpicFroggy ~ *Loves Tweedle-Dee!* (bengali208) | 160 comments SM, for want of having to spell out her whole name, is teaching girls that you should tell your stalker-boyfriend to suck your blood so you could spend the rest of your life having sex with him. That's just sick.

~ EpicFroggy ~ *Loves Tweedle-Dee!* (bengali208) | 160 comments Oh my goodness, I was lurking in one of the Tw-tard groups(I'm forever scarred), reading about how people hate it when Twilight and Harry Potter are compared, and someone said that J.K Rowling used some descriptions to many times...... I got a kick outta that......

message 1292: by [deleted user] (new)

ya it is sick bella is gross and weird. i am in a few discusions were people are comparing harry potter to twilight series and the people make the worst points

message 1293: by [deleted user] (new)

ya court

ASline nice of u to join. i dont agree with u on some of the things u said. i was wondering do u agree with me wat it seems to be teaching teen girls????

message 1295: by Lizzy (new)

Lizzy | 2 comments I absolutely hate the Twilight series, with a passion. People won't accept that it's just a book/series and move on with their freaking lives! Not only is it JUST a book/series, it's a jank one at that. My friend is OBSESSED with the series and she thinks she's a vampire. I don't know how much more stupid and obsessed it gets than that. I hate to admit it, but many times I've realized that our friendship may be in jeopardy because she's so obsessed with it and never shuts up about the freaking book and movie! SHE CALLS THE MOVIE SHE HAS ON DVD HER BABY! OMG!

I don't know if there's many situations much stupider than that, but then again there probably are. I can't believe she thinks she is a freaking vampire. Our friendship honestly is in jeopardy, I can't deny it any longer. Me hating it and her being all addicted and obsessed with it? It's hard to live with!

And so guess what else she has done? My aunt and mom were kind of interested in it, so she brings over the freaking movie and all four books! My aunt and mom won't get that obsessed, but ugh my friend gets on my nerves with this stupid Twilight thing. I haven't felt nearly as much of her friend ever since she got addicted to it.

Stephenie Meyer is the poorest excuse for an author I have ever seen, for another thing. Bella's an absolute jerk and Edward is a stalker. There's so many horrible things about that book/series that I can't even begin to list them. Ugh! Anyone feel the same or have kind of the same experience? LET ME KNOW! Thanks.

Oh, and one more thing. I don't see why the haters' opinions should be any less important than the lovers' opinions. They say we're stupid for making a group like this just to say how much we hate it? Well they are stupid too for getting all obsessed with it. Come one people, you're NOT vampires and Edward is NOT the perfect guy. He's a hideous stalker!

Twilight is just a trick to get people to fall in love with the book and to think that Edward is their perfect dream guy. Give me a freaking break.
