Thanks Hugh and for adding me as a friend. I warn you I am a big fan of the neverending quiz so you will have to let me know if I am overloading you. Lady Danielle knows and maybe Mike too.

It did, my daughter was the star of the show. Well, at least in my eyes. She was teaching the girls cheers during their break.

You should see her dance/Gymnastics. My girl can pop out a power cartwheel (more difficult than I thought for a 6 year old) with toes pointed, then drop into the splits fast enough to make Daddy and Bubba (brother) wince then do a back walk over. Without a spotter.

Amy Lignor (httpwwwgoodreadscomalignor) | 34 comments Holy cow. I would break every part of my body if I tried to do even one of those things. Mine is a runner and is studying to save sharks. Yup...sharks. A pure animal lover she leaves NO species out :)

I think my son (4 y/o) is going to make bullet trains with wings that fly over water and land back on tracks.

He loves Thomas the Train, and all things train.

I think my daughter is setting up a run for public office. She'll say "hi" and start talking to anyone.

Amy Lignor (httpwwwgoodreadscomalignor) | 34 comments Your son's job sounds more fun...but we definitely could use a GOOD politician - so she should keep at it. And, of course, I have to keep at it too. Back to the world of Hypatia LOL.

She's already hooked. When we went to the beach this summer, she was doing her power cartwheels on the sand, toes pointed, and dancing. three people unrelated to us came up to tell us how good she was and that she should be in gymnastics, cheer or dancing classes.

I hope I don't seem too much like a proud pappa.

Okay, I'll take that for action, Amy. I was throwing the football with my son. He's got a pretty good arm for 4. Not sure how that compares. More Accurate than he used to be.

My 4 year old son, and that's what my mother says about him meaning he solves things very quick. Puts together puzzles rapidly, figures out how things work without being taught. Not magic, just a good inquisitive work ethic.

Kindle is good for indie publishers and for classic books. You can get some really good deals on ebooks in both categories. I think some people prefer Kindle for space reasons. I am a paper book person, but ebooks definitely have their advantage. I read a lot of ebooks for my review gig and for classic horror. I'd never give up my paper books.

At least not yet. He can put a fifty piece puzzle together by himself in ten minutes. And he zips through memory games on my wife's cellphone so fast it's hard for me to follow him. He has a very good memory.l

That's the plan here, soon you'll have to wear a name tag any time you're logged in on Goodreads...

I think I'm finally going to break down and go Kindle even though I enjoy the actual 'read a book' thing. Several reasons. I'm starting to run out of bookshelf space. I can't drive now because of vision impairment and I'm 20 miles from town, so library trips are once or twice a month AND the library is going to be adding online Kindle as an option soon. Plus, even though I don't buy a lot of books, all of my purchases are online, so regardless of price, there is $4 shipping on everything. It wouldn't take too long for just the savings on shipping costs to pay for a 'no frills' Kindle.
