Hi! My name is Marge, I just turned 53 on the 17th and I have been looking around in here for a while and tho I only have a few minutes right now, I wanted to introduce myself so I won't feel like a stalker anymore. Ilove action/thriller/mystries, Robert Ludlem, Clive Cussler, Brad Thor, James Rollins and more. I also love W.E.B. Griffin, all his series I have read all the older ones twice now. I'm not sure how you would classify him. i don't want to say Military, because he is all aout the characters, not so much strategy. Other "Miliatry" books I have tried have too much stratagy and troop movements inch by inch. Also read at least three of the Bourne books, back in the day. I got a little tired of them so I quit for a while and never got back. I am disabled so I get most of my books from the library now and have to get in line. My hubby is wonderful, every Saturady he takes old books back and picks up the holds that have come in. He picked up "FulL Black - Brad Thor Saturday and I have it for 4 weeks. I get so many I am usually reading what goes back this Saturday this week and try to do them in order. I am just finishing up "The Jefferson Key and I will have to re-getand get back in line for some books cause I can't wait to read Full Black. I was like 152 in line when it came out and got it now, so I just have to have a little more patitence. I am loooking forward to getting to know everyone. I can't spell and have had a slight stroke back in 06 and even with using typing books again, my left hand sometimes starts typing letters I haven't even thought of so pls bear with and I will try to check it. Does this system have spell check or do you use another system for that and paste it here? The character count is making nervous so I will apoligize for my long intro. Also, on TV I like Human Target and Under Covers for right now and am eager to try your recomendations.I will come back later tonight and see if I can get involved.
Thanks again for being here!
Marge
Welcome Marge, been there done that, except I enjoy the strategy/tactics part of military reads, LOL. You'll get lots of suggestions here.
Have you tried audio books?

Welcome, Marge. Happy belated birthday, and don't worry about spelling. We're pretty laid back around here.
Hi Marge! I think you might be surprised by easily you'll get along here. This goes for all new members, just jump in and have fun.:)
Good morning everyone. I'm author Norm Applegate, just released my first thriller: Shockwave. Seems like the right book club to join.
Thanks Jason. I had lunch today with David Hagberg. He writes techno-thrillers, hit the New York Times two years ago with The Cabal, good story teller. Check him out.all the best
Norm
Norm! (the discussion group where everybody knows your name) welcome Norm, it's good to see you here.
Hey everyone. I'm so glad I found this group. I am an action/adventure fan. I love the fast-paced, mysterious novels that are true treasure hunts like Clive Cussler. I have actually written one which has debuted and is getting 5-star ratings - One bestselling author actually called it "The DaVinci Code With Heart" - so proud.

It's okay. It looked more like one of those stick your tongue out at us smiles. But we got it.

Amy, I appriciate a good Cussler/Dirk Pitt Novel? Have you read any James Rollins or Matthew Rielly?
LOL. Well, I've never been in the other AA but this is sure a friendly group :) Thank you for the welcome. I love James Rollins, but haven't read any Matthew Rielly... And the original Dirk Pitt novels were the best of the best.
Thanks Lee. There are many calling it "A Better DaVinci Code" which I think is just about the nicest praise I could get. I hope you can check out the video and tell me what you think :) I want to bring the focus back on action/adventure and off these 'fanged ones.' As a reviewer I read over fifty books a month and I am all 'vampired' out!
Amy wrote: , but haven't read any Matthew Rielly...Oh My....this is just wrong. You have got to read you some Scarecrow. You have been deprived.

That's my list of read stuff. Everything should be a link. Help yourself (and Alice has a good list, and so does Lady D)

I'm on it! Thank you! Of course, I just received a box of fifteen that I have to review, but I am getting these books!!!
That's why I like Kindle. No boxes of books! (though some of these I read as a book, not an eBook) (there's more where that came from. I haven't finished my lists.)
