Welcome Monica!

Hi all..I'm Douglas. I'm not often logged in, but I'll check periodically to see what is new and interesting. Thanks for having me...
Hi everyone! My name is Dee Ann Waite, author of The Consequential Element. I love reading and writing A/A. Indiana Jones movies were some of my favorite, and I absolutely love reading Matthew Reilly, Clive Cussler, Andy McDermott, and so many others. I look forward to reading with you and writing for you. :)
Hello, my name is John. Happy to be part of the group. Many cool topics on here. Anyway, I'm a first time author. I've written 2 books and published one so far. My book, Legend of the Black Knight, is an action/adventure story that has nothing to do with Knights, Kings, dragons, or the dark ages. Instead, it has guns, explosions, terrorists, car chases, fighting, advanced technology, and half naked female assassins! Oh yeah. check it out on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Outskirts Press, or at www.facebook.com/LegendoftheBlackKnig...
^ | recommend this book! At least check out the description - it is everything John says that it is - full of action!
Hello everyone! A great idea for this group. I define my fiction by the feeling it gives me, not the genre. You guys hit the nail on the head.
Welcome Richard. I define mine that way too. Scary. Glad you found us.
Welcome John. I'm sorry about taking so long to get your book on the list. I'm glad it's up and wish I had done it sooner for you. Welcome tot he group.

Hello. My name is Michael Stephenson. I am a Goodreads author. I love just about all genres and write in all of them as well, but I have a special love for Horror. I like to write actions sequences as well. I think that sometimes reading a good action sequence can certainly liven things up while reading. Click on my name above to go to my author page.
Hi,I'm a lover of thrillers and mysteries who was totally unaware of Goodreads until recently. I won a national competition in Ireland to have my book published and in the process of learning about the digital world I was told about Goodreads. I read other genres and lots of history and current affairs but thrillers are my favorites. Within the genre, I like quite a diverse range, I've posted some reviews to illustrate the range e.g. James Ellroy, Robert B Parker, James Lee Burke, earlier work of Eric Lustbader, Simon Kernick, Stuart Neville, Jack Higgins, John LeCarre, Stephen Hunter, Ian Rankin etc.
I'm currently reading 'Legends' by Robert Littell and really enjoying it.
Look forward to contributing.
regards
David
Hi all, I'm Jack from Boston. Just starting to look at these groups on GoodReads recently, although I've been a member for a while. Hoping to get some ideas of what to read next. Seems like I should find something here.
Welcome David. I'll get your name on the Honor roll. I think your book is already on the list. Glad you found us.
Hi David and Jack. Based on my experience here you will find more good things to read than you can manage. Unless like some here you can speed read!
Thanks for the warm welcome all. Still trying to figure out these boards, but when I do you'll probably get sick of hearing from me! Look forward to chatting with everyone here!
Hello everyone! Lifelong reader that only this year discovered that I love Action Adventure. Devoured all Steve Berry's books. Moved into The Sigma series by James Rollins- loved! Read the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase series by Andy McDermott. Just read all the Chess Team series by Jeremy Robinson. My 2013 reading goal was 52 books and I just finished book 62. Looking forward to learning about other authors/books.
