Hi Aficionados,My name is Steve and have been an A/A fan for many years. Started when I was age ten reading Hitchcock's The Three Investigators, followed by almost every Biggles novel (my dad's hardcopy originals from the 50's). Progressed to Wilbur Smith and Jack Higgins as a young adult. Enjoy credible A/A where the heros aren't chisell-jawed, flawless buffoons but more like you and I in extraordinary situations. Most recent A/A book I rated highly is Devils in Exile by Chuck Hogan. Glad to be here.
Welcome to the Group Steve, Glad your here. I've not heard of "Devils in Exile: A Novel" befoer, I'll have to check that one out.
Hello, folks!I'm Mike, love action novels. Grew up on "Joe Ryker" series by Jack Cannon (Nelson DeMille), "The Executioner" series by Don Pendleton and "The Destroyer" series by Sapir and Murphy. Reading "Drop Shot" by Harlan Coben now, but read Lee Child, Robert Crais, Barry Eisler. Always looking to add to my TBR list. Thanks for having me!
Hi everyone,I'm Kimberly and I love me a good action novel. I'm a huge fan of Clive Cussler, Matthew Rielly and James Rollins and apparently this is the place to be to find other fans of the genre :) Ièm really glad to have found the group!
Hey guys. I was referred here by one of your members. This group seems right up my alley. I'm an author and a solid part of my writing is very action based. I look forward to chatting with all of you over time. :)
Welcome Jeffrey. I've seen some of the posts you've made already and I think we're going to enjoy having you here to discuss books (and stuff) with us. Glad to have you here!+

out since 15 December.I've been an Air Force intelligence officer, information technology manager, computer-game artist, set designer, Jeopardy! contestant, and now an emergency management specialist. I've had training in architectural rendering, terrorist incident response and maritime archaeology, but not all at the same time. I tweet (@lcharnes) on shipwrecks, archaeology and scuba diving.

Hi, I'm Brad. By reading over what people are talking about and the books that get mentioned, I can tell I'm in the right place.
Welcome Brad! I think this group has good taste and a good head for books too. Your in the right place and we're glad to have you here!
Hello all. I'm Joe. I'm currently reading The November Man by Bill Granger and enjoying it. I'm new to Goodreads. I looked over your group page and I like the people, I like the posts, and I like the books. Seems like a good group.
Hi. I'm Meghan. Thought I'd say hi. I'm obsessed with reading anything and everything I can get my hands on (minus romance and erotica). I love action stuff and I got invited to join so I thought what the heck. *waves hi* :)
Hi All, I've been a Goodreads member for a short while but only really now making/finding time to visit the site more often. I'm particularly pleased to have found this group because probably more than half the approx 800 books on my bookshelves could be loosely grouped into the action adventure genre. I'm a fan of all sorts of authors, including Lee Child, Matthew Reilly, Clive Cussler, Don Pendleton, Duncan Kyle, and too many others to list here. Take care,Daniel K Munroe
