Um... ahh... err... give me a few minutes and I'll think up a really creative excuse involving fairies, miniature dragons, ogres (self not included) mystical winds (non-methane-gas of course) and the Archangel Gabriel...or maybe Michael and maybe a good olf fashioned demon from ancient folklore.

Galen Watson | 48 comments Hello everyone,
I’m a big fan of Wilbur Smith, Steve Berry, Michael Crichton, and Clive Cussler. I'm a particular fan of the religious thriller genre, and just self-published my first: The Psalter. I look forward to the group discussions and recommendations. Thanks for leading me here, I Curmudgeon.

Yes, that's wright, Aliens are involved too but, only in the cover up.

I'm glad you still made it!

Patricia (pattipunkin) | 267 comments Welcome to Galen and Jim. Galen I share your list of authors you like, except for Wibur Smith. He writes really good stories, but there is *always* at least one scene that gives me nightmares.

That would be a good except I'm kind of ... well... round.... I only have one side...

Just remember to throw me a bone or a Scooby Snack now and then and watch your fingers near my cage...my eyes are going bad and they sometimes look like shrimp... I like seafood and get pretty hungry.

rattle my cage, hear me roar... or something like that... it sounded good in my head... in the post, maybe not so much.
