Welcome, Gamal. We do love authors on this book, but out of respect for all our members we try to keep author promotions in the proper places, so I am going to delete your introduction. You are welcome to post a more appropriate one.

Here's thier BBB Page. You'll have to look at the complaints yourself. The company has an A- rating with the Better Business Beaureau. Now, that doesn't mean that they are legit. the BBB ratings tend to reflect complaint resolution figures, not acutal customer satisfaction. So, they have successfully managed the complaints, or they haven't been around long enough to have these sorted out to a meaningful rating.

I'm always happy to welcome a James Rollins fans to our forum! Do you prefer his Sigma or early stand alones?
Hi, Kraig, welcome to Goodreads and Action Adventure Aficionadoes! We're glad to have you...I happen to be a Rollins fan too! Have you seen our discussion thread for Rollins?

I'm a new author in the military/espionage thriller genre. My first novel is titled 'Red Sky at Morning', and is the first in a series. You can read reviews right here on Goodreads. I've just completed the sequel and I am working with the publisher to see it go to press sometime in January.
Naturally, I like to think my book is a little different from others in the genre. You can read the prologue and first chapter free by visiting my website, www.stevewilsonauthor.com.
Glad to be part of the group!

Welocome Steve. Glad to have you. We have a "Member-Author" sub-group set up to celebrate the accomplishments of our "Member Authors." We are are glad to have you guys.

We are planning to get our second "Featured Member-Author" Group Read rolling soon. (as soon as I can get out from under life).
The Member Author boards are for anyone to discuss our member authors (including the member authors themselves) and some subjects that may be more helpful to authors, some that may be more helpful to readers trying to find new books by new authors. All good.
(and, I ramble... you'll get used to it.)

Welcome, Steve. As Hugh said, we have a section especially for authors who are members and a promotions section for you to post threads about your books. We try to engage with authors as members and readers otherwise on the group. We are glad to have you.

My name is Grant and for a while now I've been looking for a place where action and adventure reading and writing is taken seriously. What I thought would be just another internet-fueled fan-genre ends up being one of the most ellusive animals on the 'net. Woud'a figured.
But here you are! I found you all :)
Mostly I'm into pulp-style reading and do a lot of reviews to that end here on GoodReads. I love the genre because of the unapolegetic action and adventure and the way the genre just throws stuff at the wall and the readers are happy to just go with it. Big characters, big action, big everything. Love action-adventure and spec fiction pulp :)
I've also got my own pulp series in the works but it will be a little while before it takes flight. In the meantime I'm using GoodReads to find what else is out there in the somewhat well-hidden genre of adrenalin-based prose. So I'm hoping to learn what I can from everyone :)

Welcome Joshua, we're glad to have you. I'm not sure I'd call myself a "history guru" but I really enjoy history myself. I also play a little golf ... well, some people say I beat the ground with a golf club and curse a lot... but I say I play golf. Anyway, welcome to the group!

For me this year, a couple of high paced action thrillers would be...
Ice Hunt
The Gray Man
Killing Floor
That's just a few, I know I could go on and on...
If you read any of them be sure and tells us what you think of them.

I agree with Eileen Ice Huntwas great.
Also Excavation was very good.
Have you tried anything by Greig Beck?
I just downloaded This Green Hell , I am excited to read this one.
Hi welcome. I'll second The Gray Man. The Dead of Winter is good to for something a little different.
Welcome Umar. Glad your here. I'm down with Phyllis and Ice hunt, I'd go with Amazonia or Subterranean for Rollins Reads (and of course the Sigma Force Series).
I kind of like Ludlum's Covert One series too. (starts with The Hades factor, I think).

Hello and welcom Umar. I'd have to recommend Ice Hunt as well. Another favorite of mine this year was Brainrush, a Thriller.
Steve, this isn't the place to post about your book being nominated. You can do that under promotions. Although I extend congratulations to your, I still have to delete your post.
Thanks!
Thanks!
