Hey guys, just joined this group based on a recommendation. I have pretty eclectic literary tastes and will pretty much read anything that grabs my attention. Sadly, due to work, a new child and going back to school my recreational reading time is limited...
Oops! Stopped getting updates for some reason (happens now and then GR just drops some thread). Anyway, welcome all who've arrived since I came by last.
That happens to me all the time, Mike. Especially with all the Welcoming and What Are You Reading threads.
Hi all, just joined the group as a way to get back into some sort of regular reading schedule. I'll read just about anything, but I pretty much grew up on taking in all things Cussler, Crichton, and the classics (London, Stevenson, Kipling). Action/Adventure books have always been my favorite.I stumbled upon your group and noticed Excavation, which interested me because I've recently been going through the Sigma Force series. Although I've only made it through Map of Bones, but I really am enjoying Rollins' style so far.
To keep a short story long, I'm excited to get started reading Excavation and participating in this great looking group.
Welcome Sean...while I'm not a Rollins fan (despite Hugh's [that is Curmudgeon's] attempts to convert me) I'm sure we can find some action adventures we both enjoy. Welcome.
Welcome Sean! And don't listen to mike. All of James Rollins Books are fun reads. Get a copy and join in!
Easy "Curmudgeon", he's already said he's in your camp. Now I need to introduce him to Mark Greaney.
Hi all! Just recently, well in the past couple of years, started with the action novels. Though I would join here to get inspiration.

I like seeing friendly faces.

Hi ya, folks! I know quite a few of you. I decided to join just to have another group that I forget to go to. LOL.
Aloha! Aloha...uh... something like that. ([B-{D>) Welcome. It's good to see you joining us. Glad your here.
I see a lot of my Goodreads friends are here. If my enemies are here, too, Goodreads doesn't have a function for seeing whether your enemies are in the group.

Hi Curmudgeon,Glad to see you started a MacLean thread. He's one of my favorites in the adventure genre. I noticed your Navarone link. That is an excellent book.
Curmudgeon wrote: "Hey, Sharon. I'm glad to see you here. Guess what. The Enemy is one of my all time favorate Espionage books, (even with my decided love of Robert Ludlum's work). Welcome. I started an Alistair..."
