Gerald Griffin (authorgeraldggriffin) | 15 comments Sorry, folks, I gave you an incomplete link for my blog. Try: http://geraldggriffin.blogspot.com .

Also, when you click the "refreshing and excellent feature..." link, you'll get 404-Page Not Found, but below it click "click here" and you'll get a page: "Tracey Alley's World." Then at the top click "Author of thr Week" and you'll get the feature on my book.

This may sort of fall under the "brag" part of this discussion, but to really brag (and then I'll be done with my bragging), of the three 5-star reviews of my book, one reviewer concluded, "It's an abolute must read!"; and another stated, "It's the best thriller I have ever read period."

Shaun Allan (singularity) | 9 comments Hi

I'm Shaun Allan, and I'm the author of the supernatural thriller Sin - described as 'a masterpiece of genuine creativity' and 'incredible' as well as being compared to Dean Koontz and Stephen King. Along with Sin I write a blog, from Sin's point of view, which serves as his diary from within his asylum.

I've also written an offbeat children's book of poems called Zits'n'Bits along with various other stories.

I used to run an online magazine and appeared on Sky TV to debate the pros and cons of traditional publishing (championed by an agent for Curtis Brown) as opposed to its online sibling (with me as the 'hero').

My books can be found at http://www.shaunallan.co.uk and http://www.smashwords.com/profile/vie... and Sin's blog, the diary of a madman, can be found at http://singularityspoint.blogspot.com

Thanks for listening and it's great to meet you all!

Blurb:
Life on the rough side of New Zealand.

In this South Auckland neighbourhood where gang culture, drink, drugs, sex and violence is already a way of life; a vicious attack on a teenage girl sparks a ripple effect of revenge and fury. Live the carnage through multiple viewpoints as the tale unfolds to a bloody climax.
Warning: NOT for the faint-hearted.

Here's the link to my blog, and a sample of the first two chapters:

Suki Michelle (sukimichelle) | 9 comments Okay! Bragging . . . My co-written Urban Fantasy, The Apocalypse Gene, will be released on 10/17/2011. Giveaway is active right now.

Learn more about the book at http://www.theapocalypsegene.com

Here's what Kirkus had to say:

"This action-packed, breakneck-paced novel featuring a duo of lovestruck teenaged protagonists is a wildly imaginative young-adult apocalyptic thriller that also utilizes elements of science fiction, fantasy, folklore, mythology and romance . . . the well-choreographed, thematically powerful conclusion, coupled with the deeply developed characters of Olivya and Mikah, make this a memorable read."

The blog tour from 10/01 to 10/31 still has a few openings. Hit me upppp!

Nick James | 2 comments Cool! My first YA sci-fi/adventure book is out in a week!

The Pearl Wars by Nick James Skyship Academy: The Pearl Wars

Here's the summary from Goodreads:

"A definite must-read!"—JAMES DASHNER, New York Times bestselling author of The Maze Runner

A devastated Earth's last hope is found in Pearls: small, mysterious orbs that fall from space and are capable of supplying enough energy to power entire cities. Battling to control the Pearls are the Skyship dwellers—political dissidents who live in massive ships in the Earth's stratosphere—and the corrupt Surface government.

Jesse Fisher, a Skyship slacker, and Cassius Stevenson, a young Surface operative, cross paths when they both venture into forbidden territory in pursuit of Pearls. Their chance encounter triggers an unexpected reaction, endowing each boy with remarkable—and dangerous—abilities that their respective governments would stop at nothing to possess.

Enemies thrust together with a common goal, Jesse and Cassius make their way to the ruins of Seattle to uncover the truth about their new powers, the past they didn't know they shared, and a shocking secret about the Pearls.
