Violet didn't seem to notice Stephen. She was reading a very old book in the dark.

Stephen got up very close behind Violet, silently.
"Boo." he whispered

"Hello," whispered Violet, completely calm.

"What are you looking at?" he asked peering over her shoulder.

((my computer crashed, and its going really slow.

i seriously did consider having violet jump and fall out of her chair))

Violet dusted off the page, showing a picture of a sword and a bunch of writing in Arabic.

"I'd have more understanding reading cave paintings..." he said.

Violet read the page in english in the most beautiful voice Stephen had ever heard. ((ok?))
"The sword of despair is hidden beneath a building that is darker then the mouth of a cobra, colder than the ice-worm's silk, and taller than the tallest cherry tree." she paused. "Is it cold in here?" she asked. ((it is))

Violet sighed, then moved on to the next book, which was also in Arabic.

He sighed and sat down,
"Are there any books in Hebrew?" he asked

Then he got up and looked at the worn out bindings of the books. He found one that was made with black velvet. He took it out and read the title:
The Holy Bible
"Wow, didn't expect this to be here." he said as he opened it.

Violet didn't respond. She was reading a very fat book.

Violet was so into her book she didn't notice.

"Well, I think i broke three rules in the Bible, so I'm guessing God is pretty pissed at me right now..." he said

Violet was really into her book now.

Stephen shut the book, sending dust up into the air. He put the book back on the shelf and walked over to Violet.
"Have you found anything?" he asked

Violet looked up. "What?" she asked.

"have you found anything? You've been looking at that book for a good 15 minutes." he said

[Silver]

"That other book is the only one with the sword of despair in it, and I already told you all the important information," she said, still reading her book.

"Then whats this one about?" he asked looking at it from where he was standing in front of Violet.

[Silver]

"It's called 'Brisingr'," she said. ((third book in the eragon/inheritence cycle, came out last month, awesome book))

"and its about...." he asked, clearly confused.

[Silver]

"Dragons, elves, etc." she continued reading.

"Wow..." he muttered and sat down. The only books he had ever read were the Bible and the Twilight series. He sighed and decided to start reading the books he had at home. He had about 45 books at home, and he never any of them except for "The Tale of the Sword of Despair".

Violet sighed and put the book down. "I need to go..." she said. ((brb need to go get ice cream..))

"Where?" he asked, raising an eyebrow

"Out," she said, walking away. ((he could follow her..))

"Well, I'm coming with. Just in case," he said blushing slightly

Violet was already out the door. She headed towards the woods.

Stephen followed swiftly behind her,
"If you're going to try to kill yourself, i won't let you." he said

Violet glanced back and sighed. She dissapeared.

Stephen stopped short,
Where'd you go?he thought

You'll never find me, Violet thought back, wondering why he'd followed her. Did he seriously think she was stupid enough to commit suicide??? She found a good-sized buck and killed it, then drank its blood.

Then I'll wait he thought and leaned against a tree. He began carving a small design into it with his fingernail.

Violet wiped off her mouth and came back to him, her eyes sparkling bright violet in the moonlight. ((g2g soon........))
