Sarafina looked at him, then walked past him to find the source of the wind. Her steps were absolutely silent, and she seemed to melt into the pattern of the woods. Violet paused, then followed, seeming to dissapear.

Stephen sighed, then decided to tag along with them.

Both fire-elves((yay! a name!!)) were practically invisible in the forest. ((What's in the forest?))

Stephen followed behind, glancing around.

[Silver]

Suddenly, there was a hissing sound and a sharp intake of breath. Then an arrow of fire went flying somewhere.

Stephen ducked and the arrow his the tree right where his head had been. He looked up at Sarafina and Violet with wide eyes.

[Lunabell, ~Read my stuff!~]

Clara shrugged to herself, and finished the present. She then jogged back to where everyone WAS. But wasn't now. Oh well. She wrapped her present in a big leaf, and set it on the ground, writing in the dirt, "Present pile"

There was a flash of light, and Sarafina stepped back from the tree, then walked over somewhere else, and came back holding a bloody arrow with her arm around Violet's shoulders. "He had a good aim," she said, "But Violet's aim was better." She touched the 'tree' next to Stephen's head, and a body appeared, then sagged to the ground. "That was close though. He hit Violet right above the heart. Any lower and she'd be dead. We need to be more careful."

Stephen went over to Violet.
"Are you okay?" he murmured quietly to her.

[Silver]

Violet smiled. "I'm fine. As long as I doing get hit in the heart or the head, I'm fine." she didn't mention how much energy it had taken for her to heal.

Stephen nodded.

Sarafina had taken more time than she needed examining the body.

Stephen leaned against the tree, suddenly feeling tired.

Sarafina came back. "The fire?" she reminded them. "Shall I make it or is it too risky?"

"It would cause a forest fire...and that's not the best thing to do.."

Sarafina laughed outloud. She created a fire, hovering in midair, refusing to ignite anything.

Stephen rolled his eyes.

Violet sighed.

Stephen sat on the ground and looked up at the sky.

Violet sank to the ground, head leaning on Stephen's shoulder. Sarafina kept the fire going, eyes going back and forth between them. "Is there anyone else in your group?" she asked. Violet was too tired to answer.

"Yes. A human named Clara and a vampire named Jack." he murmured, then wondered where they were.

[Silver]

Sarafina sighed. The fire extinguished. "I'll go find them." she paused by Violet, worriedly. "I'll be right back. I promise." then she was gone.

Stephen watched her go, then looked at Violet.
"She's from where you had come from, right?" he asked softly.

[Silver]

"She was my servant, a long, long time ago. We were friends."

Stephen nodded.
"I see."

Violet didn't answer, just leaning her head on Stephen's shoulder.

Stephen wrapped his arm around her and rubbed her arm soothingly.

Violet was half asleep.

Stephen looked up at the sky. Night had fallen and the ink black sky was littered with stars.

Violet sort of stared into space.

Sarafina was looking for Clara and Jack.

Jack had finished hunting and was walking back to the clearing. He took his time.

Clara sat down in the clearing next to the present pile. Where was everybody? Please don't tell me I missed a ton of action AGAIN, she thought.

Sarafina stepped out. "Hello, are you... Clara?"

"Yeah... are you another mythical person? Because there seems to be an abundance of them around here."

Sarafina smiled sadly. "I'm a friend of Violet's. I was looking for you and someone named Jack."

"Yeah, Jack wondered off somewhere. I was mentioning that he hadn't hunted for a while, except he was saying anything (he's weird that way), and then he just walked away. It's really random. So, what brings you here?"

[Silver]

"I was looking for Violet. And I found her. And she got hit by an arrow right above the heart. She's okay though. She's with Stephen."

Clara jumped up. "WHAT?! Why do you talk so CASUALLY about this? This is crazy!!!"

[Silver]

"The fire healed her. She is but tired now."
