Violet hummed to herself as she walked, absentmindedly braiding her hair.

Violet finished braiding her hair and tied it off with a green thread from her dress. It was not three inches short of her knees.

Stephen followed along, in a daze.

Violet looked at him, concerned. "Are you ok?" she asked.

"Yeah, just thinking about what happened just now..."he said

Violet nodded uncertainly. She pulled another thread from her dress and began to string random flowers onto it in a pattern.

Clara, in fact, had snuck along behind, and had seen the whole thing. Jack had been annoying her. She was, at that moment, hidden behind a thick tree, watching with wide eyes. She let out her breath, realizing she had been holding it.

Barack Obama was the next president of the United States.

Violet reached for another flower for the necklace she was making, and stopped, then smiled. "Hi Clara," she said, smiling at her friend. Now that she was human she felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of her((ignore my bad grammar, I think it sounds better this way)).

Stephen looked behind him and saw Clara,
"Where's Jack?" he asked

Violet strung the flower on the necklace and finished it. She put it around Clara's neck while she waited for her to answer.

Violet narrowed her eyes. "You're hiding something," she said.
