Clara huffed. Stephen was annoying.

Jack ran up to Stephen and smiled,
"Hey bro!" he said. Stephen smiled,
"Long time no see, Jack" he said, and Jack nodded.

Clara was frozen. The guy was.... he was.... he was.... she was at lost for words. She managed to compose her expression before he looked her way, though.

Jack looked over at Clara,
"And who's this?" he said bending down to look at her face,
"Stephen, did you bring a snack?" he said smirking.
"Just in case there were no animals..."Stephen said nodding.

Clara's heart beat wildly when Jack looked at her, but she didn't show it on the outside. She managed to say, "I'm not a snack, by the way. I'm a human. And he didn't bring me. I....tagged along."

Jack ruffled her hair,
"I'm kidding...I wouldn't eat you" he said laughing.

Clara's heart skipped a beat, then when it found a rythem again, it was beating really fast. She hoped Jack wouldn't hear. She closed her eyes. Too hard to concentrate with his face right there. She reminded herself that he was a vamp, he would dazzle her with his features, but he could be a terrible person. She relaxed, and opened her eyes, to see his face right there again, causing her to have to close her eyes again. Stupid vampire, she thought to herself.

He smiled and got up and looked at Stephen,
"So, why'd you call me here?" he asked.
"Well, let's see...theres a crazy newborn thirsting for my blood coming after me...so, just in case we need back-up" Stephen answered

Clara sighed. What to do? She settled on reading Twilight. That always helped. She picked up Twilight, and began reading again. She groaned to herself. She was at the spot where Edward was asking 'Do I dazzle you?' Clara flipped to the end for some action.

With a sigh Rayven felt she that it ws best to leave. She started to walk back slowly back into the woods, hoping no one would notice.

Stephen dug something out of his pocket. It was a locket, he threw it at Jack, and Jack caught it in his fist.
"I forgot to give that back to you..." Stephen said to him and Jack nodded and opened his fist. He looked at the locket.

Clara was too absorbed in Twilight to notice.

"Thanks man..." he said and pocketed it in his cloak. Stephen nodded,

Clara looked up from her book. She wondered what the locket was.

Clara tried to hold in the comment that was dying to burst out of her mouth. Finally, she gave up. She wasn't good at restraining words. "When the sun sets over the rainbow!" she blurted out. "Geez... didn't mean to say that..."

Jack looked at her, then back at Stephen and raised his eyebrows. Stephen was smirking.

Violet did not look surprised. "It seems everyone I know is dying or about to die," she said lightly.
