Once he was far away enough that Violet couldn't hear his thoughts, he leaned against a tree. He feared that Violet or Sara would get hourt in the upcoming feud. He liked them both, and he didn't want them to fight over him. He wasn't worth it.

However, Violet had followed him and was not far away, hidden by a tree.

He decided he would just make everyones lives easier by killing himself...

Violet's eyes widened. She stood directly behind him, silently.

He limped away, and wondered how he would do this quickly, so that he wouldn't have to endure the pain. He shuddered slightly.

"Stephen," Violet whispered, standing right next to him.

He turned around, his eyes widening.
"Violet..." he said softly

[Silver]

"Don't leave me," she whispered.

He looked down,
"You heard that, huh..." he said

"If you died.. Sara and I would kill each other."

He looked at her,
"I just wanted to make it easier for you, not having to fight over me. I don't want you or her to get hurt when she comes to get me..." he said

Clara was clenching her teeth, trying not to say anything. She personally thought Stephen should go ahead and kill himself. Can't make up his mind... what a jerk. she thought.

"Stephen!" cried Violet, and she fell to her knees, looking at the ground.

"Violet..." he said with wide eyes. He reached his hand out.

Violet did not take it.

He kneeled down and met her gaze,
"I think she has more in her than hate..." he said

Violet blinked back tears, not meeting his gaze. "She's seventeen and she wants your blood. But you can go back to her if you want." She stood up and turned to go.

"But I don't..." he said

"Going back is commiting suicide, so it wouldn't be any different from commiting suicide now."

He ran up to her,
"The only thing that matters to me now is that you won't get hurt..." he said outting a hand on her arm.

Violet shook it off angrily. "My brother died. Why shouldn't I?"

"Because if you do...I will have to kill myself from the guilt..." he said looking down.

"Why should you feel guilty?" she asked.

"Because its my fault she came after me..." he said.
Shouldn't have went to the library... he muttered quietly so no one could hear him

"She would have come after you either way. Stop blaming yourself." Violet was annoyed.

He sighed,
"She wouldn't have if I wasn't at the library..." he said

"Are you blind? She was following you. It didn't matter where you were. I guess you didn't see her run ahead of you and sit in the chair and pretend she'd been there the whole time."

He blinked a few times. He sighed,
"I'm such an idiot..." he muttered

"No you're not. I'm sorry, I forgot you don't see as fast as I do."

He looked at her,
"I guess we better get going..." he said

Violet gave him that indecipherable(sp?) look again, then led the way back to Clara.

He walked behind her. He wasn't limping anymore, which was a relief.
