Need an addictive read

I'm currently in that limbo where nothing I'm reading captures my full interest. i.e. With 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' series, I just couldn't put it down.

Is there anything out there, fiction/mystery/series that has had you enthralled from start to finish?

Thanks in advance!

Definitely the Hunger Games Trilogy!!! It was awesome!!!!!

You may think this is a strange (or worse, pretentious) answer, but I'm going to say Crime and Punishment. I only put it down when I had to, and I actually got angry when I had to put it down.
Loved the Millenium trilogy.

nothing i read so far, were as addictive as GDT series. right now im reading "Sworn to Silence" and i think it's really good. it kinda similar to "The girl with the dragon tattoo", but it is only a single book. might wanna check it out

I just read"The Hypnotist" by Lars Kepler (Swedish Husband and wife team). It's about 500 pages and I read it in two nights. It was definitely a page turner and led me on a wild and wooly ride...lol! I highly recommend it.

The Hunger Games triology!

Try Sleeping Beauty, excellent thriller.
Also Hannibal books (Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon) are very good.

I just finished the Night angle trilogy, though it's epic fantasy, it very good. Climax in third one was a bit of a let down but 1 & 2 were awesome.

If you would like a Scandinavian quick-read, Hakan Nekker's books are great short mysteries that feature an older, contemplative detective who seems to solve crimes with his nose (i.e., by following instinct). The books contain passages from the point of view of the murderer, and those sections help create the suspense. I can read one in a day.

Had the same problem...Jo Nesbo came to the rescue for me. His latest "The Leopard" is gripping from the start. The other book I would recommend is "Mercy" by Jussi Alder Olsen..though it is very different in mood and pace to TGWTDT series

Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme books. Be sure to start with "The Bone Collecter" (and be sure to skip the movie--boy, did they get it wrong!)

Three Seconds by another swedish author was very good

IDK, I'm in the same position!!! Let me know if YOU find something! LOL :)

Michael Connelly books. Start with the first Bosch novel and work your way through them.

I read great reviews about "Scarecrow And The Army Of Thieves". I just bought the book. I will keep you guys updated about the book. As from what I have read in the reviews, seems like the book is addictive.

I am about to finish Millennium Trilogy... I had the same feeling as Willard... Got angry whenever i had to put down the read. My next read would be The leopard.

Dan browns, Angels & Demons, Deception point and digital fortress are equally good.
