Nick (whyzen) | 1295 comments Not sure when they released this but it must have be recently. Now you can read your kindle collection on a web browser. I thought this was a great feature of the google ebook service and I'm thrilled that Amazon has put this into place now.

Andy (andy_m) | 311 comments I tried it out yesterday and I really like it. It keeps the kindle bookmarks and if you periodically connect your kindle to wireless the online reader will pick up where you left off on your kindle.

I prefer my kindle for long term reading but if I am on a break at work, getting a few pages in wouldn't be a bad thing on the computer.

Works fine in Safari. You just need to use a browser that fully supports HTML 5. IF anyone is an iPad user those works wonderfully on the iPad, even offline. The store interface they have designed here is wonderfully and I wouldn't be surprised if we see this interface on an upcoming Kindle tablet.
