Wayne just stopped by an old bookstore- saw the following:

Star Quest
The Dark Symphany
Fear That Man

sparked my interest-anyone read any of these or any of his sci fi?

Wayne yes- apparently star quest was his published work. His early work was sci-fi.

Haven't read any of them. I hear they are hard to find so if you find them at a reasonable price, I recommend snatching them up :-)

Many of his more popular & available books have sci-fi elements which I think he wrote about very well. Here are a few that I really enjoyed:

Strangers
Cold Fire
By the Light of the Moon
Lightning
The Taking

You are so lucky.

Jordan Lombard (jslombard) Yep, I snagged a copy of Star Quest on Amazon years ago. It was good, as sci-fi goes. Not great, but not terrible. Certainly not terrible for a first book!

I've been reading his How to Write Best Selling Fiction, in which he gives a lot of details from Beastchild, and now I really want to read that one! Otherwise, I have yet to read his early sci-fi works.
