TV Shows Holli & Roxy Watch
LOL. I had too much other stuff taking up time on my DVR the other night so I watched PP online this afternoon. I'd read about how they were going to be doing more "hot issue" type story lines and multiple lines in one episode.
I'm gladd Addison is giving Hot SWAT (aka Officer Kevin) a try. He's yummy. Glad to see he's getting some work after Gilmer Girls.
OH, FYI the ABC website does and EXCELLENT episode recap in case anyone missed it AND does not want to watch it on the ABC website. I found that quite refreshing. Most networks don't update the recap after the initial airing.

I enjoy this show mainly because I love Amy Brenneman (Violet) and Paul Adelstein (Cooper). I've always liked them and to have them be on a show together....PERFECT!! I almost feel as if this show mixes it up a bit more and Grey's kinda follows the same whiny dialogue with the same tired storylines. I felt it was that way last season so I'm really hoping this season is better. Private Practice is happier and brighter but also more real and emotional. Does that even make sense?? LOL

Though, I kind of liked the admin guy. He used to be on Veronica Mars which I LOVED and I liked him on that. Though I do think that his type of character is so into running an office...young, cute, surfer, MALE.

I'm not a fan of the guy receptionist, either. but i have a feeling he's not gone for good. he just doesn't really fit on the show...

I do want his crush on Naomi to be totally forgotten and never mentioned again. I love both of them, but there was no chemistry or interest on Naomi's part. I find the tenuous relationship between Sam and Naomi much more interesting, especially now that he's literally had to do a hostile takeover of the practice.
Roxy and Holli--you guys need to form an online review show ala Roeper and Ebert! :-)

I believe he comes back and they hopefully move on from the "crush" storyline. Its become stale and I'm hoping they do more with his character because I really liked Del!!

Can you imagine finding your supposed soul mate & being together for years only to find out it's your brother???
I felt so bad for that couple. And I cried when the father finally allowed his son to die.
I thought I saw Dell in the preview for next week so he will probably be back. I can't believe Sam slept with the receptionist!
Oh & Addison's phone message for the SWAT guy reminded me of that scene from Swingers where Jon Favreau leaves that message for the girl. I wonder if he'll talk to her again?

Ok, I'm in the middle of watching the latest episode but I had to post just to say.... eeeewwwww.....saw it coming but eeewwwww!

I hope Addision didn't scare off her SWAT guy.
I really hope they do something so Violet stops coming off on the pathetic single one of the bunch. Granted I totally get why she was upset with Cooper but they always make her so patheticly dependent.

And Dell is coming back!

The story about the possible sociopath kids was kind of lame. I know that he wasn't in the end but there was nothing but mom saying he killed the dog to worry you. It needed something else to make it a possibility.
Dig Dell. Don't dig his stupid crush on Naomi. No chemistry there. Pluse seems too mommy-issues. Get him a cool girl his age.

I like SWAT guy. But I think they're going to want Addison with Tim Daley (can't remember his name on the show). So I don't think SWAT will be on forever... :(
This last episode wasn't the greatest...but I still keep coming back for more!!

I'm still hanging on to Amazing Race, Anthony Bourdain, NCIS, House, Pushing Daisies, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, and Life on Mars. I have a few other shows that I DVR and watch here and there (such as Jon&Kate Plus 8, 17 Kids and Counting, Bridezillas, Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?, Say Yes To The Dress, House Hunters, House Hunters International, Cash in the Attic, Bargain Hunt, and EastEnders).
And, of course, I'm waitng with bated breath for the return of Lost!!!!

Do you think Pete's new female friend will be a permanent fixture on the show? I'm not sure what to think of her yet.

(From TVGuide.com)
"Sources tell TVGuide.com exclusively that ABC powerhouse Grey's Anatomy and its spin-off, Private Practice, will be embarking on a multi-episode crossover story come February sweeps.
Though at this very early stage the number of episodes and the sum total of actors involved has yet to be nailed down, it can at least be confirmed that Kate Walsh's Dr. Addison Montgomery will again be walking the halls of Seattle Grace, as she did for one episode last spring (several months after Private Practice made its debut).
Grey's Anatomy is currently in its fifth season on ABC. The concept for Private Practice first emerged in the form of a back-door pilot/May 2007 episode of Grey's in which Addison ventured to Los Angeles to catch up with gal pal Naomi (originally played by Alias' Merrin Dungey, but quickly recast with Audra McDonald).
Who from Seattle Grace might show their pretty face at Oceanside Wellness? When I interviewed Walsh just a few weeks ago, she cast her vote for Eric Dane's Mark Sloan, saying, "It'd be fun to have him cause some trouble!" That said, don't read too much into her quote (or the photo above) — the actual laundry list of crossing-over cast members from each show, outside of Walsh, has yet to be confirmed."

I watched it online so I did not see any previews. Any hint at what it is?

I have no clue, Roxy. She did mention that she wanted to get out of her current career so anything goes, I guess. They didn't show anything about it on the previews. And she almost told Cooper but hesitated!
Dell is looking better lately...did they change his hair? Or maybe it's because he stopped being so clingy with Naomi?
