So the kiss at the end, what did it mean? Were they just trying it on for size? Or is there something there?
I got out of that that they were trying it out for size and then realized they were just too good of friends.... no chemistry. Is that how it seemed to all of you too?
Yes, but I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something. Oh and Charlotte is right about Violet being a "meddler". I she cannot stay out of others business when her own is a mess! I wish Violet would go away for a long trip!
This was a good one! Dell got married..... and Cooper arrested... and Addison was the meddler this time. Good episode!
I agree about the kiss between Addison & umm, crap I can never remember his name. You know who I mean.This was good. Surprising about Dell but they have been needing to something with him, he's been so whiney lately.
I was very surprised at the end when it turned out the boy made everything up! That sort of sucked because he seemed happy living with his dad, too.
I just saw a preview for this weeks episode (2-hour?). Dell's house blows up?! Presumably with wife & daughter in it?!?!
@Roxy, just went in search of that preview and I can't believe it!! I'm sure it'll be an excellent episode, but why can't Dell catch a break? Things were going so well for him :(Can't wait to see it tomorrow! I usually don't want to stay up that late, but I might have to make an exception for this one.

I know when shows do 2-hour episodes they are always created to be broken up into 2 1-hour episodes later but that episode last night really wasn't what I'd classify as a 2-hour special, two related episodes yes. Anyway, I was glad to see that Dell's daughter was relatively unscathed. Heather on the other hand....oh well. She was trouble anyway.
I just finished the first hour of the two hour show and I'm going to guess that Addison's mom is a lesbian.... that's gotta be it!
And I was so right! Sorry, guess that was a big spoiler for everyone. Didn't mean to do that.So this was a very interesting two hour episode... I enjoyed it. Loved meeting Addison's parents (the Captain is hilarious).
I totally didn't guess that about Addison's mom. I just figured they had an open marriage for years and they were both seeing people.I felt bad for Addison's dad because all these years she has hated him for unfair reasons. Ok, cheating is wrong but it was agreed upon cheating AND it seems that he didn't have to stay married but chose to because he really does love her mom.
Cross-over Episode:[stomping foot on ground like a 4 year old:] I did not appreciate Sam's analysis of dauschunds and dauschund owners!
I thought this was just an ok episode although I loved Cooper and what's-her-name fighting... glad they finally got that out. And I would love to have Mark on this show more..... and uh, hello.... anyone heard of LOCKING THE DOOR?! LOLOh! And the preview.... Naomi's daughter is pregnant...wow!
Seriously! Mark made sure to close the blinds why not lock the door while you are at it! I assumed that was where they were going with Naomi's daughter. She's not the type you'd expect to get pregnant so young so it will be interesting to see what the circumstances are. It's horrible but I am wondering if they are going to make it deals where she doesn't know who the dad is because the cirle of friends sleeps with each other. You know its got to be something topical like that, that is how the show is. But at the same rate, they've rarely showed her with friends. [shrug:] guess we will have to wait and see.
Oh this was a good one... I really connect with the characters on Private Practice. Not so much on Grey's anymore. Has anyone else watched this episode yet? I don't want to talk about it yet if you haven't.....
It was huh Thauna? I liked it..... I felt so bad for Naomi. I really thought they portrayed an honest reaction from a mother whose teen is pregnant.
Hmmm, maybe a little. I thought Naomi was way over the top. Esp since she has always been so pro-life. I could understand her considering it but I couldn't understand her demanding it. Tears and anger, yes. Disappointment, yes. And the part where she said she knew she'd go to hell for it. I felt like she was being more selfish. She was going against everything she believed in...yes, to protect her daughter. But...where's the courage of her convictions? And what kind of behavior would that model? Oh that doctor in the wheelchair makes me so mad! And Violet...I wish she would have a shift about the baby. And I feel so bad for Charlette.
I can't stand the wheelchair doctor... he drives me nuts. And I'm tired of Violet not wanting her baby... that's getting ridiculous!I see what you are saying about Naomi Thauna... I guess she was a little over the top but it was a good portrayal of the panic and the shock and the anger that sets in. I'm surprised she wasn't more mad that Addison knew before her.......

I agree with you both about Naomi, great gut reactions but very selfish and I was SHOCKED that Naomi didn't even take time to cool down and think about it. For as strong as she feels about abortions I thought it was over the top that she wouldn't even wait a few days. I too am tired of Violet not wanting her baby. She has got to break in some way soon. She had a crack at the end but that isn't suddenly going to kick in the maternal instinct. I don't know where they are going with her.
I like Charlott a lot but she is hiding too much. I understand why she is holding her ground about not talking about her first marriage but she is letting whatever happened with that marriage ruin a current relationship. Just tell Cooper already.
I thought that with Charlotte and Cooper the problem now lies with the fact that #1 she lied about being married before (or just didn't tell him) and #2 that she admitted that she never had plans to marry Cooper. Did I miss something somewhere.... which definitely could have happened! LOL
Its hard to keep track of what those two are arguing about. I think if she confessed to the hidden issue with fact #1 that would explain fact #2.She did propose to him, right? I think if he had said yes she would have gone through with it but since he said no....all bets are off.
What could her big secret about the first marriage be? Holding out for this long means it has to be whopper.

So....where to begin with the latest episode. Naomi is being such a selfish bitched! I am disliking her more and more. I understand the whole I need some time to think concept but she is just thinking of herself. Get past it Naomi! Your daughters pregnancy while you think reflects your parenting dis not actually about you!
Addison & Same eeeww...stop! Please! I like them as friends. They both need friends and that is working. Hurray to Addison for growing up and just saying no to Sam who, lets face while he may be physically attracted to Addy is just looking to get hurt Naomi on some level. That became obvious from the speach he gave to Addy.
Violet - I was so glad to hear her say WHY she gave Lucas up. She didn't abandon him, she made a decision about what was best for him. Good to know.
I agree with all of your points on this episode Roxy.... not liking the fact that Naomi can't get over herself and loved when Violet finally put her in her place about it all. Good to know Violet could possibly maybe come around in the future regarding her kid and I'm not liking Sam and Addison either.... I like her and Pete together. Which I think happens next week from the previews!
They did imply Pete and Addison would sleep together didn't they. Now, I know Pete & Addison had their flirty thing when she first arrived but he and Violet we a lot more serious (even though they barely speak now) so is that sticking that trampy label on Addison? She just can't seem to stop doing stuff like that. At least when she dated the SWAT guy he had not dated any of her friends before. She just needs a new guy, fresh on the scene.
Sam pushing Addison to be with him is bothering me....get over it, she said no move on. But I think I understand, Naomi is pissed about their daughter and she is holding that grudge. Sam dosn't get to be pissed about his daughter he is the one who has to be there for her. Being mad at Addison is the release of the anger he has at NAomi and their daughter. At least I hope.I'm just not buying Sam & Addison being in-love. I think they are both bitter and feel they've been jade by love and deserve something better and are confusing their friendship and common need as love. They're in-love with the idea of being perfect for each other. At least that is my opinon because for some reason, I am just not feeling them as a real couple.
Oh was this a great episode this week.... sad on a lot of counts but sooo good......
They always seem to include a sad element of some sort.Was it just me or did Charlotte almost look a little trampy at the wedding. Something about her hair/make combo made her look cheep. And we only had a quick glimpse of Jordana but was she a little bit Charlotte? I noticed at the very end of the episode as they paned the crowd Charlotte & Cooper had returned from their bathroom rondevue but each wondered off like nothing happened. hmmmm...
I really didn't think Naomi would show. Scratch that, when her kid was standing there missing her mom in her wedding dress you knew Naomi would show, its so TV but prior to that in the episode I really thought her character was going to continue with the selfishness.
I didn't think Charlotte looked trampy.... I didn't get that vibe... I'm going to like Charlotte and Cooper reuniting off and on. I think that's going to be a great storyline. I'm tired of Addison being the resident whore on the show. Good lord.
I think Charlotte always looks so sharp, without her dresses being too tight like naomi's, but something the basic hair and lip color bugged me. LOLI agree about Addison. Really? Has she not learned to stay away from other people's men or friends men yet? They have got to have some seriously great guy lined up for her soon!

I figured that was going to happen with the great hatred Naomi had for him and the fact that he seemed to enjoy spuring her on. I don't know if I see them as a couple though, nor do I really see her and the older guy either.Violet needs to find the mother inside herself and find her kid! Perhaps this trip will be the big turning point for her.
But, I will give them this.....at least they are not doing Violets change from major post-pardom issues to happy mom (if she goes to that) in a blink of the TV eye. That would have sucked more then drawing it out I think.
I agree they are keeping it real with Violet.... I just want her to hurry up and fix herself I guess. LOL

Call me crazy but I sorta like Sheldon and Charlotte together, I have always liked Pete and Addison together since the beginning, I'm glad that will leave Violet and Cooper open to get together cause that just makes sense to me (always has), and I'm glad Naomi "caught" Sam and Addison.Not sure what I think about Naomi and the wheelchair doctor (for lack of a better description)
Pete & Addison where fun in the beginning but like now, it was all electricty and sexual. She need something more grounding. I really want to see Violet be a mom and just to keep it from being so soapy, I like her to do it with Pete.
Did anyone else find Derek's sister irritating?? Man... I was glad when her parts ended that's for sure! LOL So excited to see what happens now that Violet is back.... should be good!
I did too. Not to mention Sam said she was 14 the last time he saw her, someone said something about her being about 20ish years old, and then later Addison was talking about how [sister:] caught her & Marc, kept her secret and then became a really great friend to talk to! Is it just me or is something wrong with the math there.Hurray for Violet. Poor Addison (ok, only a little) but perhaps now they will find Addison a real good boyfriend. Maybe the hunk SWAT guy will come back!
