I agree Hannah!! Nothing with the actor strike as far as I've heard. Meaning it hasn't happened yet. I miss my shows too but it's also nice to have a 2-3 week break and read more! Everything starts back up soon right? Most everything anyways.......

Grey's and Private Practice start again on Jan. 8th. Private Practice moves to Thursday at 10 (which blows) and they are both new episodes. Now what I'm I going to do on Wednesdays?! LOL
Shit....is it really?? I have so much to watch on Thursdays as it is!!! lol
Eh, I've been watching Gray's and PP on the internet anyway, just delays when a I do it. Oh wait, that does kind of suck. Ii was watching PP the morning after while my kid was at pre-school. No preschool on fridays! bummer.
I agree. Thursdays are already filled up with other shows I watch. Luckily, I have a DVR.
Me too, two actually so we'll see how it works out!! I know there can't possibly be 4 shows on at 10pm on Thursdays I want to DVR. lolOh I don't know......with VH1 shows there may be.....crap.
Is Gray's on at 10 too? Mine only records 2 shows at once so I hope not.
Grey's is on at 9pm but on Thursdays at 10pm we watch/record a bunch of stuff I think. I'll have to see how this all pans out. I may have to scarifice a VH1 show or something. lol

Yep. Grey's stay at 9, then PP follows at 10, which blows because I can barely stay up past 10 most nights and I won't have a DVR. Sound like I'll be watching PP at work Friday! LOL

I guess it is obvious what the writers of PP's stance is on immunizations and autism. I'm sure they'll be getting some letters over that episode.

I think you're right, Roxy, on the letters over the autism and vaccinations. There might be an uproar. I think Pete is starting to have feelings for Violet too. I also predict that Addison will get back together with SWAT guy and then Wyatt might come between them.
I think Charlotte is having a really hard time without Cooper which makes me wonder if she really is pregnant.

I think Hannah is right about the Wyatt thing....but I don't like him either!!I really cried over this show with the child dying. So sad. This show was brave to tackle to vaccine/autism thing going on right now. What do you guys think about that whole dilemma? My opinion is that I'd rather have an autistic kid over my kid dying BUT I do not at all think he should have immunized her child without her permission. WAAY over-stepping his boundaries there!! And I have a question....if vaccinations cause autism why aren't all kids who get them autistic then? I'm asking honestly.....how do they explain that? And also......we all had vaccinations.....so why didn't that happen to us? Different vaccinations now or something?

My guess is that vaccinations are different & other things have caused our bodies to change over time. I feel the same way about allergies. I don't ever remember people having as many allergies to things like they do now. Aren't they in the process of making safer vaccinations for kids?
If it were my child, I would have gotten the vaccination for him rather than the possibility of death. I agree, Cooper crossed the line, but I could see where he was coming from too.
Oh I could too and I would have already vaccinated my kid!! I don't understand how people can just not do it at all. How do they KNOW that the vaccinations are causing autism. Its too much of a gamble to think it is and then risk your child's health that way. I don't know....those are just my opinions. Maybe I don't know enough on the subject to be talking about it.
my kid got the basic vaccinations. But honestly, I didn't research the issue much. I don't know if there are suddenly more people with autism or its become a more public thing. Don't forget it wasn't too long ago where people hid children with any sort of issue. There is also some speculation that pre-natal vitamins has some connection to autism too.
I'm not sure about autism, but back in the 50's, my aunt was vaccinated (not sure which one) at 6 months of age and as a result developed Cerebral Palsy. She was born perfectly healthy. Now, I'm not sure if the vaccine did it or there was something in her chemical make up that brought the disease on (and neither did the doctors). But the doctors said she wouldn't live past 10 years of age. It's now 2009 and she celebrated her 50th birthday last June.If I ever have kids I will have them vaccinated, without even a thought. It's very rare for kids have a reaction of any sort from a vaccine and I think it's just the chance you take for having a kid that's alive. Autism is something the kid can easily be born with or develop later too. I don't remember anyone I grew up with having autism. I think it seems like it's a new thing. I don't think doctors even know what causes it so they are throwing everything they can think of out there. Same with most cancers. Some days, what you eat causes cancer, some days it environmental impacts. If we believed everything the medical community said we'd never have kids and never leave our homes.

That's ok Rachel cause I think this one is twenty times better now! I used to really love Grey's but I'm bored with it now. They need to liven that show up :)

Addison kissed Wyatt. Who didn't see that coming? LOL It seems they are trying to make him appear like a human with kindness and emotion, but the only thing I see is the concieted little twit.
Um, so Violet got a tad cornered, huh? And I find it funny that Pete couldn't except that she was sleeping with him and Sheldon. Hypicrite.
So, you peeps with kids? What would you have done if your kid contracted a bacteria that would kill you? I don't think I could have left the one behind.
Wyatt doesn't bother me and I can actually see he and Addison together more than her and SWAT guy. Addison and Wyatt have more in common I think. Yes he can be rude and condescending but that's part of what I like I guess. I always like a little bit of asshole thrown in to make life exciting. ;)

Speaking of haircuts, did they cut Addison's hair again? I thought it looked better this episode than last week.
Last night was so good! I still don't know what to think of Wyatt but SWAT guy was kind of harsh to Addison, I thought.
I think Pete actually has feelings for Violet but at the same time, you're right Kristen. He's usually the one doing the hurting & couldn't handle being on the other end.
I loved the moment in the plane with Charlotte & Cooper. What is up with next week's preview & them getting married??? Didn't see that coming.
And Violet will be pregnant???
Just when I think there can't be anymore surprises around the corner, they shock us again. I absolutely love this season!
If that would have been my children, I couldn't leave my child behind either. That's a really tough choice though.
Yeah looks like next week is gonna be good! I also really loved Cooper and Charlotte's scenes this episode. Very funny,sweet,poignant,and sad.

Charlotte and Cooper getting married? I must have missed that in the preview for next week. I need to rewind and watch back on the Tivo. I am excited about Violet being pregnant! And, I want Addison to kick Swat dude to the curb and get with the hunky doc!!

CF family - ummm, I only have one kid and I couldn't watch the final decision. I couldn't even imagine, nor do I want to, being put in that position.
Oh, and I notice in the previews for next week, the bride you see walking down the isle appeard to have dark hair. I don't think that is Charlotte.
I'm excited about Violet being pregnant too...I hope SHE is!! lol
Of course we're not going to know who the father is for MONTHS!! Of course you do have to feel bad for her....hasn't had sex or a relationship in how long and when she finally gets some action and has some fun, she gets pregnant.

I just finished watching and I cried over the doctor dying.....and the baby almost dying....and Charlotte's dad being dead. Gosh.I just have never thought SWAT guy and Addison fit well together. Not sure if her and Wyatt do either but we'll soon find out.
They've really been pulling out the tear-jerker stories lately. I don't know if I can hack much more!
So who do you think the father is and who would you want it to be? I have a suspicion that it will be Pete's after his whole sentimental moment with the dying doctor about how he's never had kids, he's not married, etc. I do like Sheldon though. He would be good for Violet but she doesn't seem crazy about him.Is Wyatt gone from the show now? I saw that he is going to be on some other new show on ABC soon.
YEah, what is the deal with Dr. Wyatt? His absence is ubrupt (sp?) as if they had to write him off becuase they no longer have access to the actor.I can't decide on the father of Violet's baby. I'm not happy with the deicison she's made....everything is based on the reaction both guys had when given a hypothetical. They are both going to find out she is pregnant sooner or later! im soo happy for violet, even though she said she has said last season that she does not believe she is capable of being a good mother. I also think that Charletts character os finally turning around in her relationship with Cooper. My only consern is that Dell is not as infatuated with Naomi as he was last season (i hope he gets more involved). I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT BECAUSE IT IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH, WE SHOULD BE PAYING GREAT RESPECT TO ONE OF THE GREATEST CREATIVE MINDS, SHONDA RHIMES, (A BEAUTIFUL STRONG WOMAN)
I finally watched this past show and it was another good one! I love that Cooper is moving in with Violet to help her out...how sweet is that? I want the father to be Pete--for some reason I like the two of them together.Love Grant Show too!! Great addition to the cast.....hope he sticks around awhile.......

I don't know how I feel about Violet & Cooper living together. Last season she was crazy about him and then just friends. If I would have liked a guy that much, I don't think I could live with him. Holli, I hope Pete's the father too.

Yep, this week. Starting at 9. I'm pretty sure it will be a 2 hour episode.Looks like Grant Shows character gets really sick and Addison needs McDreamy to help him. They better not kill him off. I think he's a great addition to the show.
