Which Story World Would You Like To Live In

Sadly the world we live in isn't as utopian as we want it to be. Things don't always happen the way we would have liked, wars happen and ...well... it's a jungle out there, it's the survival of the fittest. Luckily there's books that give all of us another option, to escape to a world other than the one we live in. Though the escape is short-lived it shows us stories and places different to our own.

So of all the books you've read, which story world would you like to live in?

Wow, well firstly, many novel stories are far from perfect. Dystopians are a fantastic example of this ;) But if I HAD to choose... Wings? I've only read the first book though xD

Still have to read that whole series, but man, I wish I received that envelope...

you NEED to read those books. I read the whole series in one summer because I was so engrossed in it. You just never want to put it down.

My God, that sounds serious ;p I was gonna start on them this summer, but I guess it's going to be something for the winter now. By the way, I've heard the first three are a drag and that it's best to skip them, but I can't really skip books in a series. So should I just begin with the first?

The Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke. If you aren't familiar with the series, it's basically about a girl named Meggie who finds out whatever she reads comes true. So she can read herself into different worlds or read it so that the world comes to her. That would be so sick.

No no don't skip the first three! I think the first three are the AMAZING. (Possibly even more so than the later books.
I would LOVEEEE to live in the world of Harry Potter. Reading the books make me so sad that I don't!

I love children's fantasy. Books like Matilda, by Roald Dahl, Artemis Fowl are some of my all time favorites. Last week, I read this book by an author called Melissa Studdard. I really liked the book a lot! It is a magical tale with stunning visual imagery. It's a story world I would like to live in. The young girl, Annalise around which the book revolves is one cheeky little thing. There's music, magic, myth, mystery- you name it. The author draws you into the story and makes you live and love her characters. Especially Annalise.
