Woe Kitty gets two stars. I have it on my shelf tried to read it but the writing was ummm not..the best. Lol
I'm currently reading
and
I was also reading
but decided to set it aside as it wasn't grabbing my attention. This series hasn't lived up to book one for me so far.
Darcy, How is the Jessica Anderson series? I picked up most of the books at the Borders liquidation sale, but I haven't heard much talk about it.
I like then, but they read slow. There is so much mythology in them with the Mayan culture that the story gets bogged down. They aren't ones that I could read back to back because of that. When you get to the heart of the story with the characters it is good.
I am reading Spider's Bite. It is the first book of the elemental assassin series. It's really good. I love books about assassins and since it's in the urban fantasy genre it only makes it better.

I enjoyed Succubus Blues series. I also loved Wicked Game. Those are both really good.

Thank you! I added them to my to-read list :)
I'm reading
. Not quite sure what to make of it yet, but I'm loving all the 80's references. Although, how they could argue about Ladyhawke and not bring up Michelle Pfeiffer is beyond me.
I finished
. It wasn't quite the light-hearted romp through 80s nostalgia that I was expecting. Although it did have plenty of nostalgia, it had a few nearly depressing undercurrents running through it. But still quite an engaging read.Next, I'm finally getting back to Harry Dresden with

Not sure if you are aware but Wilks has a short story in Tied with a Bow that takes place after Death Magic. It is about Benedict, was a good one.
I didn't realize it was after Death Magic because Tied with a Bow was out before. Good to know Darcy.
Carolyn F. wrote: "I didn't realize it was after Death Magic because Tied with a Bow was out before. Good to know Darcy."It is annoying! There is a Breed story by Lora Leigh in it too. In the timeline of that series it comes after the Breed book that comes out next week. I didn't realize it until after I read the story. I hate reading out of order.

Loved them all. It has everything romance, action and suspense/mystery. I think I guess once who the killer was out of all her books. It makes you feel like you are apart of the story. I like this author.

Thanks. I think I'll move them up in the pile of new series to try in the new year.
I finished
and loved it! Thank you Jim Butcher for the best read I had in November. Now I'm getting back into
and
so I can finally finish that series. I'm kind of glad there are only these two books left to go.
