read it in about 2 days, give or take a few hours, I loved it, cannot wait for the second book to come out, it's already on my TBR list :)
I finally finished
(really busy this week) and it was very good. This is a series that needs more recognition than it gets, IMO.
is next.
I finally finished Monster Hunter International
. I liked it, but I think it would have been a great book if if it been shorten by about 200 pages. Next up is The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack

I love David too.
I finished
.I wanted to like this book, but I had a really hard time getting into it. About half way through it finally started to grab my attention enough that I'm willing to give the second book a try. Eventually. But I think this is one of those that you really need to be in the "mood" to read.
I really liked Soulless, Michelle. It was one of the best books I've read this year.
It was so cute! I love steampunk anyway, and vampires were an added bonus, lol. I definitely want to read more in the series.
Now I'm reading Never Let Me Go which is very haunting. Unfortunately, I knew what the book was about before I started reading it :(

I am reading Four and Twenty Blackbirds. There are elements in the story that I like. Priest is a good writer, just long winded.
I am reading Jim Butcher's Storm Front. This is my first book by this author. So far it's pretty good!
Trace wrote: "I am reading Jim Butcher's Storm Front. This is my first book by this author. So far it's pretty good!"I love the Dresden series, I hope you enjoy the first book as much as I did, and hope you read the rest :)
Trace wrote: "I am reading Jim Butcher's Storm Front. This is my first book by this author. So far it's pretty good!"Good, hope you continue to read all the series. This is one of my favourite series and can't wait for the next book to come out, unfortunately, I have a long time to wait.
Enjoy the books
Reading "A Discovery of Witches" and I'm kind of down on the "Humans are lame" and extra romancy romance, and yet... I really want to see how it all turns out.

I just started Neil Gaiman's famous Sandman series of graphic novels. So far I'm loving Preludes and Nocturnes!
I just finished Eileen Wilks new book. Death Magic.I thought it was very good. It continues the story of Rule Tanner and Lily Yu with some of the characters from previous books. The Great Bitch is still trying to get to earth. Using humans to do her dirty work. She wants to rid this dimension of all the lupi. The Lady who made the lupi fights to keep the Great Bitch out.
I would read these in order. Doing NaNa so no reading for the rest of the month.

I am glad to hear that Jo Anne. It is one of my favorite series that no one seems to read.
@Jo Anne and Darcy,I love Eileen Wilks' series too! I've been waiting (impatiently) for my copy to arrive in the mail and I think I just might get it today! I'm so excited to read this and find out what happens next.
Darcy wrote: "I am waiting for a copy from the library, so it will take a while. :("Too bad. I guess there is a price to reading for free.
Trace wrote: "I will have to check out Eileen Wilks. I haven't read anything from her as of yet."I definitely recommend it. And I think the only series I've read so far in which the lead character is Asian-American. It's great if you like mysteries/FBI procedurals and it's got a nice touch of romance. It's starts out with your typical 'their eyes meet and the mating bond snaps into place', but they actually spend several books learning to live with the bond and coming to respect and love one another regardless of the mating bond. And I love many of the supporting characters.

Checked it out in an online library, and I have to wait until my turn comes up again, but your encouragement helps. I'd just gotten to the part where they talk about (view spoiler). I don't hate romance, but I have hopes that there's so much more there.
