Jazz Oh yeah, I'd definitely read it. It would be really interesting to see how she evolved from hating Percy to liking him. And also to see her conflicting emotions in regards to Luke siding with Kronos. I'd especially like to read what happened between them when he asked her to run away with him right before they went into the Labyrinth.

Areeba Big time, it would be awesome! I've actually been thinking about it while reading the books. I wanna know how she felt about Luke and then about Racheal helping them.

Madeline I would love to hear it from Annabeth's point of view! (or Luke, i think that would be awesome!) I would want to hear her explain how she felt when she first saw the whole Kronos/ Luke thing. :)

Chris ↛ That would be interesting seeing I like how she thinks and how she would retaliate to other people. But I am getting sick of reading books that has Female roles in them... No offense =3

Me too a little. I don't really want it from her point of view. I'm not really fond of her and I don't think I'd read it.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ that would be cool but i dont think we should pressure it on him cause he's already working hard by writing 2 books at a time and it wouldnt be all the same and stuff

Torie I think it would be a little boring to read, because Annabeth is a pretty boring character.

Shiropa I'd like to read it from Annabeth because she's really smart and all. And she's been at camp longer than Percy
so we could find out what happened before Percy came to camp.

Thanks :)

Nicoletta Alasandra Absolutely, i love Annabeth!!

Torie Kimberly wrote: "In the nicest way possible, I'm going to strongly disagree with u. Annabeth is not boring. She is just as strong a character and as exciting as Percy

I don't understand what is so strong and exciting about Annabeth. She has kind of a lame personality in my opinion. Sometimes she's ok, but most of the time she doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humor.

Annabeth is able to hold her own in a battle, she's intelligent, and pawns Percy several times in the series.

I kinda like Annabeth, Perhaps not in the POJ series.. Perhaps in the Lost Hero woould be nice seeing she did try and look for Percy and she had her own quest to deal with! lolz! =b

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

YES! Totally. I love Annabeth. I would read it in any perspective.

message 15: by Katharina (new)

Katharina I think i would try.

that would be so cool!!

Stephen Roode Sorry OP but no I really really hate Annabeth she is just so boring her moves were far too predictable and she was pretty one dimensional pretty much a mary sue and guess what mary sues make horrible protagonists

Cynth YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

I agree. I'm glad she's a character because it adds a little to the story and to Percy...but I don't like her and she IS pretty boring. The only reason I would read a book from Annabeth's POV is to make her more intresting. I would never read it because she is intresting...Becuase she's not.

message 20: by Amy (new) - rated it 3 stars

Amy I would definately read it! Annabeth is my favourite character.

ABSOLOUTLY! I would LOVE that, I've written most of TLT in Annabeth's POV and a little bit of TBOTL, too.
Check my fan fics out if you're interested:

It was fun to write but it would be 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000times better to read Rick Riordan's version. He's an AMAZING writer!

YES! Exactly!

message 24: by Jenn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jenn i would it would be interesting reading a different pov

message 25: by Kim (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kim Kanofsky Most definitely!!

Kayzo A different POV would certainly mix it up a little.

Torie I like Percy too much and dislike Annabeth too much to push for this.

message 28: by Andy (new) - rated it 5 stars

Andy Norris Would read a book from her point of view because then we could see how her life with the family is and how she thinks and looks at things

Daryl Conley I'd read it. I think she's actually much more compelling than Percy. I'd enjoy the more cerebral view on the events.

Sarah Hussain i think the book would be like more complicated if she did that because she seems more mature.

Rebecca Yes that would be so awesome

message 32: by Allie (last edited Aug 11, 2011 06:27PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Allie Dude, i love Annabeth. She's my favorite character. She's in no way boring. I think it would be amazing.

Mitchie That would be SO awesome!!!! I would so read it!

Torie Kimberly wrote: "Torie wrote: "I like Percy too much and dislike Annabeth too much to push for this."

It's not like Percy wouldn't be in it"

I know Percy would most likely be in it, but that's not my point. I like reading from Percy's POV.

Juliet YESYESYESYESYESYESYES SHE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, that would be so awesome. Annabeth is one of my favorite characters.

Peace,
Isabel

I would help you! Annabeth's point of view is something I would LOVE to see!! One thing though:When she falls off the cliff with the Manticore in the 3rd book and spends most of the book trapped under the sky, what would they fill up that part of the book with?

Aileen i looove annabeth, but i would never want rick riordan to write from her pov during the first series because shes already with percy a good amount of the time so id already know what would happen. i would love to read her point of view during the lost hero tho, because i love how intelligent she is & i would like to see how her mind works.

also, on a random note, i think shes always been attracted to percy since the beginning.

message 39: by Chey (new) - rated it 4 stars

Chey Yeah, that would be awesome! If Rick Riordan made a series about Annabeth I would so read it.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

i would read it too. i will post a comment about it. all of the books are about percy so annabeth's point of view would be so cool

Caressa I think it's a fantastic idea. Annabeth has always been a really strong character for me. Although rewriting the series from Annabeth's POV might produce side plots and fun things, I think she would make an amazing prequel to the whole series. There's defiantly things he can play off in his work.
Even those who dislike Annabeth would hard time refusing to know why it all happened and while it would be difficult for him to balance it now, it could be a fun, easy book for him to write later.

Racheal I think it would be awesome. Especially when she was getting all jealous about rachel. If I remember the book correctly that is.

you know, i never thought of that

Cupcake Bookworm btw i would totally read it
i mean, it wouldnt be bad cuz it would be by rick riorden and hes the best author ever

and i dont think annabeth is boring

Ana Sofía i would totally read stuff from Annabeths point of view.

message 46: by HC (new) - rated it 5 stars

HC same. Annabeth is awesome!!!!!!! :D

Maria B. Quagliana yea i agree

Ariadna I think it would be so awesome to see if Annabeth loves Percy and how she feels about Luke.

Jillian That would be a butt kicker! Hopefully, Riordan will think of this... and write about it! PLEASE IF YOUR READING THIS, AND YOU KNOW RIORDAN, TELL HIM ITS FOR THE HOMELESS CHILDREN!!!

Jillian Daryl wrote: "I'd read it. I think she's actually much more compelling than Percy. I'd enjoy the more cerebral view on the events."
