Mariana I'd love a sequel, but even if there was I don't think Gemma and Ty would end up together. But who knows? Maybe. She loved him, but not enough.

message 119: by Louise (new) - rated it 5 stars

Louise lets bail Ty!!! I want him to be free!:_)

message 120: by Mia (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mia R I'm a bit worried as to whether a sequel would match the level of the first. I think Stolen is phenomenal as a stand-alone, and I was happy with the ending. What would the sequel even be about, really? If it's not done well, it'll feel clunky, almost dragging down the first novel in a way. In order for a sequel to work with this kind of book, it will have to be written EXTREMELY well. Of course, Lucy Christopher is a very skilled author and is more than up to the challenge when it comes to writing on subjects most writers would shy away from. I guess I'll just have to have faith and remember that Christopher knows what she's doing!

MissIntegrity Yea lets bail him out! -holds out collection bowl-
Anyone?

Rosalinda *KRASNORADA* Mia I don't really think she'll finally write it anyway but in my opinion, I want to know what happens after he is out (view spoiler)

xxx

Agnieszka |cymcia| From the authors www:

Will there be a sequel to Stolen?
I certainly would like to revisit Gemma and Ty's world one day, and yes, I do have a plot for a book related to Stolen all worked out in my head, ready to go. However, at present I am working on another novel for young people that is not related to Stolen to Flyaway. My advice though....stay tuned. It won't be today or tomorrow, but maybe soon, soon, soon.....

Emma I would LOVE A SEQUEL......

message 130: by (new) - rated it 3 stars

♡ I just finished this book last week, and thought that it couldn't be over. I felt like it wasn't ended, like it ended on a cliffhanger. I would definitely love a sequel.

I recommended the book to my friend and she can't stop talking and txting me about how crazy the guy is. When she finished she called me up begging for the sequel. She almost killed me (jk) when I told her there wasn't one. So now we just talk and txt making up our own book (sorta) about what it's about. So far he escaped from jail. So yes we would both LOVE a sequel!!

My friend and I were arguing over this yesterday. We both came to a conclusion that why would anyone want to leave a hot aussie (being kidnapped isn't the right way to go) but we talked about how could she be so miserable lol. We did argue who would get Ty too, can't leave that out. :)

message 132: by (new) - rated it 3 stars

♡ I loved Ty. I thought I was alone on loving Ty and not liking Gemma. I would've tried to give Ty a chance. You can never really find caring guys like him anymore really. Team Ty all the way lol

Hugh Jackman
Heath Ledger
Russell Crowe
Sam Worthington
Chris & Liam Hemsworth
Need I say more?

message 136: by Alaska (new) - rated it 4 stars

Alaska Rose i'd love a sequel but wouldn't it be cool if it was from ty's pov? like, i know he's a little psycho and all, so it could be weird, but still. i'd love to know what was going on in his head....that was random but anyways. lol.

message 137: by Winter (new) - rated it 4 stars

Winter I would definitely read a sequel if it came out, but I don't think anything could top the first. The raw emotion Gemma had to face to come to terms with what was happening to her was what made me enjoy the books so much, well, that and the completely unique style of writing.

message 138: by Sorrel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sorrel This was a really great book and I would be scared, like many other people, that a sequel would ruin this. I just can't think what would happen in a sequel, I feel like the story is sort of finished now because I don't think there's enough unknown things to craft a story.

Victoria I think a sequel wouldn't work. The end of the book (as heartbreaking as it is) is a good one, as Gemma says she's letting Ty go, she can't keep dwelling on her past like that. I feel like a sequel would kind of ruin that point that was made, and kind of decrease the strength of the ending and the main character a little. UNLESS, it was from Ty's perspective, I would love to read that (like going into his past and then back to where he kidnaps her and maybe a little after). But I'm against Gemma and Ty getting back together. As much as the hopeless romantic within me likes the idea, it's wrong.

krisusnoona novels like this should stand alone , but there's part of me want this to be happy-ending , hahah like one of my fav. book by david levithan "every day"

if there will be a sequel to this , i hope she'll do it very well , =))

ps: i miss ty =l
xoxo

message 141: by Karina (new) - rated it 5 stars

Karina Prado I think a sequel to this would be great. It should be from Ty's point of view and after he gets out of jail and they meet each other again some how and they stayed together or at least talked about their feelings.

message 142: by bb. (new) - rated it 5 stars

bb. Holy shiz, if Lucy really is doing a sequel, I would literally be screaming to the heavens and thanking God for answering my prayer. On the other hand, I think the book right now is already perfection. So if Lucy were to do a continuation, it would be perfection on top of perfection, like a dozen juicy cherries on top of an already delicious cake. Not necessary but hey, it's welcomed and i'll still devour it nevertheless. :-D

as strange as it sounds i really wanted them to get together but come on he is gonna rote in prison or a physch ward for the rest of his life. i wanted her to stay and fall in love because he did even in his crazy way love her. but a sequal whats he gonna do break out and kidnap her again? saying that i would read it because i became strangely attached to ty.

Kyle I am always for a sequel, I hate when stories end.

But, I'm actually a little worried about how this would be made into a sequel. I trust the author though. If she can make it work, I will read it.

message 147: by Louise (new) - rated it 5 stars

Louise I would like for Ty to respond to Gemma's letter!!! since book one was written as a letter to him.:)

Have you checked out Held by Edeet Ravel? It's the closest book I have read that bears a bit of resemblance to Stolen (but not too similar). :-)
