I'..."
Well, we don't actually have any but I created a topic just for this purpose. I went and read here and there and pulled together a list of the most common things said on writing sites/publishing sites. Check it out here and good luck!

Does anyone listen to Regina spektor?

“Remembrance is a mix of horror fantasy, interwoven with the tenuous threads of science fiction, and it has progressed to an advanced developmental stage. It’s a novel I’m actually quite excited about.”
However, it's only the first "Act" of two such stories.
The first is perfectly self contained, but the second "Act" would build on the first, yet be a complete departure from what's taken place in the first.
For me, a story is as long or as short as it needs to be, and I'm loathed to just fatten something out arbitrarily, just to meet a word or page count.
Ordinarily, I'd publish the first as-is (once proofed and edited), but it's only 150 pages of manuscript, and I'm trying to avoid yet another novella for the time being.
So, should I wait while I've written the second act, or just go for it?

I am in shock. Kind of. And a little freaked out. Please tell me someone else has felt this way.

Anyone have some good ideas to make a book successful? I have a few ideas, but I could use some ideas that other authors have used.

Am writing major suspense novel which need professional editing
Any suggestions?
Plotting and characters are world class.
With proper editing and lit agent the sky is the limit on this book!
Thanks
Tom

I hope you're talking about a character in something you're writing? If not, I'd strongly advise against killing someone off ;)

No offense taken Niv just wanted to tell you that you should let us know here as well, as Pam said.
