Favorite Part 2 scene?

i loved that part!

too all the werewolves (spell check)and had that look like, oh oh oh watcha gonna do huh, what!

That part was HILARIOUS! also "Ive always wanted to use that spell"

If I had to choose it would be between the part when Neville made that bridge collapse and destroyed most of the death eaters, when they first get into the room of requirement and Ginny walks in and completely ignores her brother and just stares at Harry(lol), or when snape asks if anyone knows where harry is and a person walks out and you have no idea that its harry who walks out and the order walks in behind him

Ginny; Hello Harry
Harry;hi
Ron; oii, i'm your brother and you say hello to him first?
Seamus; hey, she has plenty of brothers, there's only one harry potter.
(or something like that, haha all i know is that was one of my favorite parts in the movie)

I happen to agree Neville gets his due in both parts of the Deathly Hallows and thensome. I have a really soft spot for him thorough out the whole series of movies and books.

HYSTERICAL!!!!!!!!! I love that part!!!!!!!

I loved those parts!!!!! I thought this movie had a lot of funny lines for such a dark story, which is what made it so great

1. When Nevile takes out all of the death eaters.. pretty much by accident
2. When professor McGonnagall used the spell to ready the castles defenses and turned to Mrs. Weasley and told her "I've always wanted to use that spell". Mrs. Weasley gave her a really funny look. I Love Prof. McGonnagall!
3. GRINGOTS scene & the dragon

1. when hermione says 'that's barbaric' when griphook says the dragon expects pain when he hears the voice, it reminded me so much when she was saying that in the first movie when harry and ron were playing wizard chess...except that she was way childish back then...*sigh*
2. when Daniel Radcliff says to Aberforth 'I'm not interested in what happened between you and your brother' even though harry wanted to know in the book, i felt it was a superb performance by daniel radcliff who i don't really admire much most of the time, he seemed so hurt when saying it, as if he wanted to know but can't bear the consequences, loved it!
3. when harry emerges from behind the painting and the much loved Hedwig's Theme plays for the first time, it brought me to tears...
4. 'tell them... how you looked him in the eye ...a man who trusted you ...and killed him' great addition to the scenario
5. the statues coming to life scene, *i had goosebumps*, the music in it (the track 'Statues') was absolutely brilliant, thanks Alexandre Desplat...and ofcourse the 'i've always wanted to try that spell!' by McGonagall great addition to the scenario
6. when everyone is casting the shield spell, saying things like 'let's keep the enemy out' great addition to the scenario
7. when harry, Ron and Hermione are coming out of the castle to go to where voldemort is and they are met by a bunch of dementors when Aberforth bursts out of the hall and casts a large patronus, great scene
8. Severus Snape....no more to be said, although the memories could have been better, Alan Rickman is superb
9. Ralph Fiennes performance as voldemort was astounding, blew me off especially after harry is dead with the speech in front of the remaining survivors
10. the 'I'll go with you' by hermione, great addition to the scenario
11. the Resurrection Stone scene, superb music, great performance, the 'Always...Until the End' brilliant, i love Gary Oldman too
12. when harry and Voldemort are sort of flying together, there is this shot of Voldemort smiling widely and hysterically, suddenly felt like my worst nightmare!!
13. and my absolute favourite: when harry and voldemort are crawling on the floor to get to their wands, it reminded me of when Fred dies in the book and the description of harry's feelings, in the words of Jk herself "The air exploded, They had been grouped together, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, and Percy, the two Death Eaters at their feet, one Stunned, the other Transfigured; and in that fragment of a moment, when danger seemed temporarily at bay, the world was rent apart. Harry felt himself flying through the air, and all he could do was hold as tightly as possible to that thin stick of wood that was his one and only weapon..." even though i really was upset that they didn't bring Fred's scene, the crawling scene was so symbolic, the two great wizards struggling to reach the stick amidst the destruction, that without it, they are nothing
14. when harry is going back into the hall and Flinch is sweeping ridiculous stuff from the big pile of debris, reminiscent scene of the old days
15. continuing down the hall, harry sees professor Slughorn talking about silly stuff, something stuck to something, it was so touching after all the mess and the horror, they are back to talking in folly...ahhhhh
most of them are movie stuff anyway, if i'm talking about the depiction of the book, i'd add a lot more, King's Cross scene for example, very true to the book, beyond words...sorry if i took so long ^^

same

I really liked that they added, "You have your mother's eyes," to Snape's death scene. It made all the strife the two of them caused each other over the years make a bit more sense. Snape's memories were much more rushed than in the book.

- Gringotts (the entire scene)
- The Room of Hidden Things (with Malfoy etc.)
- Snape's death scene and the subsequent memory exploration (I think this may be top)
- Molly Weasley's bamfness
- Harry's "death" scene
- King's Cross (everything about that scene except for the very last: "Dumbledooooooore..." which was kind of stupid)
So yeah. I'd say Snape's death scene and the memories were probably my favourite part of the whole movie. I cried uncontrollably with my fist in my mouth. I can't wait to watch it again.

- all the teens using non-verbal spells when everyone knows they can't..
- Harry telling Ron and Hermione before going to his death*-- this almost completely ruined the whole movie for me; the only saving grace being that there were so many good scenes as well-- I just love the emotionalness of how Harry decides to go it alone and not tell anyone, in the book, and I really didn't like that they changed that
- finally, why the heck did Harry snap the Elder Wand? he was supposed to fix his old holly wand and then put the Elder wand back in Dumbledore's tomb where it belongs.. according to the movie he just uses Draco's wand for the rest of his life? :(
Yeah, but other than those few things, the movie was EXCELLENT. Definitely the best other than the 1st and 2nd. I'm just really miffed about that one scene..

Lol with the elder wans there are tons of things that don't make sense in the movie than they do in the book. If Harry snaps the edler wand, it dosen't really matter beccause he is the true owner, so any wand is the elder wand to him (essentially in the book)
And plus, (correct me if I forgot) in part 1, I don't even think they put in that part of the book where he snapped his wand. In the movie I think they didn't even add it in, so there's really no point...
I think the screenwriters just got lazy because in the end it was so complicated so they pushed a lot of the details back...I hd to explain everything to my dad afterwards because he said the movie didn't do a very good job explaining it. If you haven't read the book you'd never get the movie probab;y

Agreed. Yeah, now that I think about it, I think you're right; they didn't put the part where his wand snaps... then why did he get Draco's wand in the movie? or does it leave that unexplained too? Actually, I guess they all got their wands taken by the Snatchers, so that could be their explanation.

How Harry got Draco's wand in the movie and in the bookare the same. When he was at the Malfoy Manor he disarmed Draco with Peter's wand...so technically Harry owns the elder wand. I think in the movie and in the book he had both Draco's and Bellatrix's wand, and that's why he asked olivander about a wands loyalty, because Bellatrix's wand didn't work for him, but Draco's did. Its all very confusing

I know. All that is the same as the book (yay!) it was just that the movie took out Harry's wand breaking at Godric's Hollow and then added Harry snapping the Elder wand, so according to the movie he continues to use Draco's wand after that, instead of using his own which he fixes with the Elder wand in the book.. sometimes it does get confusing, yes. That's why I read the series at least twice a year.

Lol i used to re-read the series right through and through for probably three four years, when I was a complete FANATIC but have stopped since I have found my absoloute favorite book...but all of the details are basically burned into my mind.

what is your "absolute favorite book"?

All i wanna say is that the movie makers are professional in this field, that's how they kept people intrigued. I know it's too late to say this now, since it's the final one, but for future notice u have to start regarding books different than u regard movies
I wanted to reply to Laura and Adela as well, that they did show harry's wand snapping, but what they made wrong is that harry didn't disarm malfoy(not by expelliarmus) he snatched it out of his hand, which was wrong; he didn't really win it, especially since harry said specifically in part2 "i disarmed malfoy, so...." i was waiting for them to make that mistake, i wanted to scream in the middle of the theater ' no u didn't!!!!' that's the only mistake in this dilemma....harry not fixing his wand was upsetting but it was a good scene for the movie, not complicating for the audience

same here. Kind of bothered me when they clapped though cuz they almost ruined her line
