Is Robert Patterson suitable to play Edward?

(Just my opinion)I reckon that they should've chosen a better actor who is more Edward-like. While reading twilight, I really didn't imagine him to look like what he looks like in the movie.I reckon someone hotter should play Edward. What do you think?

Alice especially is nothing like I pictured her. And I thought Emmett would be bigger... taller and more muscular
Well we all know that no one will ever amount to our cullens the way we have perceived them in our heads. all we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!!!
I REALLY don't want Robert Pattison to be Edward, or in the movie period, but if Stephanie Meyer thought he was fine, I'm okay with it!
I totally agree with Caroline!I think RPattz is perfect for the role; especially in his kit as Edward, when they've paled his skin and put him into Edward-like clothes, like shirts! Shirts on guys are a big deal to me cos kiwi guys never wear shirts. Anyway, the trailer shows some really good chemistry between Kristen and Rob; and more than their looks, that's what really matters. The love/obsession is what the movie's about. The only thing that kinda sucks is his accent in the movie...I hate it! I mean, I know Edward is meant to be American but...I wish they'd watered it down, so it sounded more neutral. I guess I'm just used to Rob having a sexy British accent!
haha i think it wouldve been ok if he wouldve had his accent in the movie.
I think he good for his face wise... hes very pale, thin and seems very.... mysertious. Like hes hiding something. If he was alittle more good looking, I think It wouls of been perfect.
He looks good, but OMG! I saw the trailer, and he MASTERED the crooked smile! SO HOT!

At least I am not the only female that's a sucker to the crooked smile. lol. that's what made me talk to my husband for the first time. he was looking at me while I was dancing at a teen club and I looked up and he gave me that smile... I knew I had to meet him. Funny thing is he never told me his name. The first thing out of his mouth was "Wanna touch my tattoo?" and he gave me that crooked smile. I was only 15 and a goody-goody... OF COURSE I WANTED TO TOUCH HIS TATTOO. LOL
Robert Patterson was a great choice 4 the role of Edward. I can't think of any budy else that could have been a good Edward. Wait, backspace! I know this would sould tacky, but when I think of it. Zac Efron would have been ok. With his hair being the way I thought of it. I'm mostly thinking of the hair but Drew whats his name that was in Another Cinderella Movie is ok 2. But I think Robert Patterson was the far best choice 4 the role of Edward. He has the hair, skin, even though they could have done something 2 it, the smile that reaches both ears, good couple with the girl whos playing Bella, nice height, the british look, old class handsome gentleman look 2 him, and beleivable actor!!

I think Robert Pattinson will make a great Edward. The only real concern I had with him was the first cast picture I saw, where his hair looked like a giant fluff ball. *shudder* Obviously he won't be the Perfect actor for him, but that's only to be expected. No, what I'm most worried about is how good the movie itself will turn out. I reeeally hope they don't do what they did to Eragon. *bigger shudder* Although I do wish they got Cillian Murphy to play James. :D

oh definately..plus could you imagine all the tweens that would be screaming and hollering to get into the theatre just to see him? I am going to see my beloved edward and bella come alive again..not to see some hotty totty boy...i would hate to go to the movie if he was in it. he could NEVER portray Edward<3
Zac shod stick to his disney movies. and yeah it'd be sooooooo annoying to go to the twilight movie and its all sold out bc a bunch of 3rd graders.

Ok, so I never really thought that Robert Pattinson was going to make a good Edward, but after seeing the final Twilight trailer, I have changed my mind 100%. I think he is going to be GREAT!!!!!
